not very versitile

I ordered this product in order to do Turkish Get Ups. I am a kettlebell purist and so I do not goose neck my wrist when holding the kettle bell. But for this product you have to and if you do not expect some pain around the wrist area. A regular kettle bell is much better to purchase. A regular kettle bell is round and therefore more forgiving on the skin and also therefore more versatile.

Excellent addition to any gym

I ordered a pair of these. I love and use them weekly. They are great for multiple uses. Constructed very well and simple to use. I have dumbbells from two pounds all the way up to one hundred twenty pounds and the kettle clamps are a great asset for turning them to kettle bells, using for farmers walks, chin/pull ups, etc... I highly recommend these to anyone.

Very limited, not designed well, WAY overpriced

On the plus side this thing feels fairly solid and attaches well giving me confidence.

However, there's just too much wrong. First, this thing basically is only good for swinging. They have videos of them doing some stuff with the kettlebell racked but if you look at the picture there is a sharp ridge right where it contacts your wrist which makes it horribly painful to hold in this position. If this edge was rounded (and I see no reason for it not to be) it would maybe be worth it. It's no good for holding the weight in a goblet position or rack position, either, otherwise I might have kept it.

They show pictures of people using it for pullups or barbell handles, but who the hell is going to buy TWO of these at 200$, for a total of 400$, for freakin pullup/barbell handles?? For half the price you could buy a whole trap bar and a cheap set of pullup handles and have money left over to buy some kettlebells. LOL

The fact that swinging is the only thing these are good for makes this totally not worth it. If it was 1/3 or 1/4 the price it would actually be nice, but at 200$ it is ridiculous, you can buy an adustable kettlebell or a whole set of good kettlebells that you can actually fully use. Even for super heavy swings which they show videos of in the promo, if you're going to be swinging 100+ lbs you might as well just buy a T-bar like the hungarian core blaster and you can load it up with as many plates as you want and swing super heavy. At this cost I see absolutely no reason to buy this.

EDIT: The company does know about the wrist issue apparently and told me they're working on a revised version in about 6 months that will allow rack position to be much more doable, so I'll be looking forward to seeing the new design. I'd say if that problem is solved really well that would raise it to a 3-4 star rating, and if the price was lowered a bit to something a bit more reasonable like 100-150$ it would be a 5 star product.

Money saver for your workouts/home gym

This works as good as a normal kettlebell for many of the same workouts. Look on You Tube for ideas and a demo. It is less than buying a set (you would need at least a 30lb, 45lb and 60lb in your set) and with the KettleClamp; it will fit on any dumbell. If your home or paid gym has dumbells; you can get a great kettlebell workout.

The constuction is solid and it seems this Clamp will last for many years. I am suprised more people did not buy this product. The shipping was fast and the item was packed fine with no damage upon arrival.

Amazing Idea, but way to expensive for what it is.

Its a pretty cool concept but way overpriced for the simple screw vice that it is, realistically i could build this same device for around $30 of Materials.Im rating it a 5 because its a great idea, and im also going to take the close up drawings, draft them out and make my own lol. Also im not fond of the cast aluminum aspect especially on the vice part, cast aluminum can crack pretty easily especially in an area thats under alot of torsion, or one prone to concussive force (being dropped after doing a set) building it out of mild steel would have been my choice.

If you want to make working with 88 and 106lb kettle bells easy you overload the two hand swing
by Shawn Michael (5 out of 5 stars)

The foundational strength move for all kettle bell work is the swing. If you want to make working with 88 and 106lb kettle bells easy you overload the two hand swing. So you can spend 500$ or more to get monster bells delivered or if you or your gym have heavy dumbbells you can progressively bring up your strength on your swings. As far as the t handles or hungarian core blaster goes, it works ok if you are very tall with thin legs, but you cannot get your hands as close together and really stretch behind you they way you can with this handle. I clamp it to 200lb dumbbell that I put together with a cheap CAP handle and it has made my back and hams stronger than ever. You would not want to do this kind of work with a lesser clamp and I am very happy with it.

Make your own... GO to youtube and look it up. It is just pipe , a connector , electrical tape and your own plate weights. $17 plus your weights.
