The GRNB is made of "No Break" polypropylene and weighs just seven pounds, providing a lightweight and easy-to-carry complete gold prospecting kit. The GRNB works by concentrating gold into a small bowl through a patented filtration system, making the panning process super easy. With gravity doing the filtering, simply scoop in dirt and pour in water! The GRNB is the only gold panning kit that offers this kind of patented design for quickly concentrating the fine gold. The filtration system in the GRNB offers two different-sized screens for collecting large and medium-sized materials, such as rocks, nuggets, and gems, with the smallest particles being thrust by gravity through a funnel and into a concentration bowl at the bottom of the bucket. Specifically, the flow of water coming from the funnel is regulated perfectly such that it traps the gold beneath the bed of sand. Too strong or too weak of flow and the gold is lost but we got it just right! The final step is to pour the contents of the bowl into your pan and start panning your super concentrated "pay dirt"!

I took the bucket out for a very quick evaluation. First of all, the unit is very well made and designed to store nicely. The bucket came with extra convenience items such as the little gold containers, magnet, tweezers, etc. Based on my prior experience using other process, I'm can tell that your unit is very well designed to capture all the gold. I did capture a little color, but need to go to more likely places where there is gold. I look forward to future trips using the Nugget Bucket. Your pricing is reasonable. Your design of this package is excellent. Thank you.

I purchased two of the Gold Rush Nugget Buckets for use later this season. My family is planning a road trip trough historic mining districts and we have a junior member who wants to try panning for gold.

I have panned for gold in the San Gabriel Mountains, just for fun, mind you. I know that a sluice box will capture more gold, but they are bulky and heavy- and I don't want to invest in professional equipment just to have a bit of fun. When I saw the gold Rush NugBucket, I thought now THAT would be perfect for panning with kids!

When my bucket(s) arrived I opened it up and checked out the inserts and other included items. I have to say the inventor thought of just about everything and made it all fit neatly into a compact unit! All the components are sturdy, and should last a good long time if kept together and cared for! I can't wait to start hunting some gold!

I cannot yet comment on the efficacy of the unit, but from what I see, I am thinking we will catch gold fever very soon!!

Very well constructed prospecting tool. Saves time on setting up sluice box and is much easier to carry. Has everything you need to start prospecting. I like to bring the Nugget Bucket in one hand and my shovel in the other. Another well designed tool that every prospector should have in their arsenal.

Way Overpriced

Very expensive for the items. If not for the price, this should be rated as 5 star. You are basically paying a lot extra for the "invention". If you buy the items individually, you will only be spending around $20 to 30 tops. The 2 buckets can even be free. Heck, I have buckets lying everywhere. I also have a lot of mini shovels everywhere. I don't have the pan but I've checked on Amazon and they cost only $7.

If you are expecting to hit the motherload, what ever you're quantity of gold expectations are? you might as well buy the serious equipment. So five stars for the concept. When we use it I will let you know if we found gold.

I liked the fact that it is a compact unit, lightweight and very portable. It is not a high volume unit by any means, but if you are spot checking an area and want to produce some concentrate to pan, it does a great job. My only concern is that there a number of small plastic parts that could be lost, if dropped in fast moving water. Since each part is critical to the overall operation of the unit as a whole, any single item lost or damaged and everything is useless. The legs of the funnel, the concentrate cup, or the centering ring are most vulnerable and not something that you can buy off a shelf locally.

The packaging and the usefulness is awesome! I can see this being used for family fun and the joy of maybe finding some gold. I bought some paydirt and ran it through the bucket to practice and to see the process of it. Didn't find any nuggets or pickers on the classifieds, but I did find a decent amount of flakes on the bottom tray. I would suggest running your dirt twice just in case. I did miss a couple flakes but that may have been my fault. So five stars for the concept, great for beginners, and gift ideas! My only concern/complaint was the two classifiers the squares appeared to be the same size and I had a decent amount of pebbles on the bottom tray.

The wife was mad that I wouldn't wait for her to try it. Brought my dad instead and we had a blast! And don't worry, I brought the wife a bucket of concentrate to pan at home 😁.

This was the first time I had tried any type of prospecting, and I loved it. The Nugget Bucket seems very well designed, and sturdy enough to last. Can't wait to show friends on the next camping trip!
