This Lego is epic! It's the T-65 X-Wing fighter Red 5 that destroyed the Death Star! I had to pay $262.00 but what can I say I am a fan at 50. Now I see the price has gone up even more. My grandson who is now 7 got me into the Lego's. We have great conversations about them. We can talk some Lego's for sure all day. I often buy one then order him one. The big ones not so much. But I did send him the Millenium Falcon at $119.00 that is a good deal. It will be nice to pass all my sets to him one day. :).

Really appreciate the quality from the seller, ordered on Jan 2nd and got here Jan 5th that's awesome really appreciate that. Also I didn't pay any shipping or tax on my order and I got it 3 days after I ordered, beyond happy about that. Also quality of the box I give it a 9.5/10, the box was sealed 100% does not show any signs of previous opening or tampering so this seller is legit. Only reason I give it a 9.5 and not a 10 is because the box is a little banged up but that's not the sellers fault sometimes it happens while it's beong shipped so no fault there. Legit lego set there and all stuff was there I am very happy with my purchase and the sellers

This is the first Lego I've owned/used since I was about 12 and now I'm in my early 40s. Let me tell you, you don't lose it, one you learn to stick one piece to another, that's something you keep for life. I had such a blast making this model, a few false starts here and there, but that was cool. I just really enjoyed myself and it reminded me of a simpler life I suppose, I built it over several very content evenings, a nice beer helped matters, an inquisitive cat meant I nearly lost most of a turbo blaster as he was intent on swiping pieces off the table while I was attending the call of nature... maybe the beer wasn't a great idea after all.

ladies, if you are thinking of buying this for the man in your life then do not hesitate, he will be a very happy chappie I assure you.... Gents, if you really want this... do not hesitate buying it for your lady friend, she will be far too bemused to be upset and you can make it together and its nice to share...
10 out 10 folks, although I do fear for where this may go..... Millennium Falcon, Tie Fighter..... death star..

I don't normally purchase LEGO's anymore, but this X-Wing had to be an exception. It's beautiful! The only downfall is it has some stickers but they seem to work better than other LEGO stickers because they are not peeling of falling off. Maybe I just took more care in putting these on. The X-Wing has always been one of my favorite Star Wars vehicles, how could it not? If you collect Star Wars LEGO, this is an item to deeply consider.

So glad they remade this model. I use to have the old 7000 version which I handed down to my nephew (wish i had it back with the $$ theyre worth!, lol) This is a sturdier, easier model to build and makes a great addition to my others.

Check out the star destroyer and b-wing. they are all amazing and look great when set up on stands.

I've been a Star Wars nut as long as I can remember, and I caught the Lego bug a few months ago. About 15 years ago, I purchased a similar X-wing, and you dang near had to be an engineer to build it. The S-foil mechanism was a series of gears and shafts, and if you didn't get it just right, the S-foils would not work right. Needless to say it left a bad taste in my mouth.

This set was a nice surprise. The numbered bags made assembly a lot easier; everything was set up in components. A lot better than searching random bags for just one brick. The S-foil mechanism was simplified; a worm gear and a few planetary gears, and the instructions were pretty much foolproof. It took me about four days to finish it, and man, this thing is big!

While I wouldn't recommend it for play, this certainly would make a beautiful addition to your shelf.7775

Great set. Enjoyed the build. Some technic elements open and close the wings. Looks great on display. It really should have came with a Luke minifigure though. Buy it before it retires.

Fun build, ended up watching "A New Hope" 2.5 times while building it. Complex, and a bit difficult. Looks great on display, as this is not a toy.

No stand...

Doesn't come with a stand like the Tie Fighter did..
Still a very nice model, just a little disappointed about the stand.
