Bought this about 6 months ago. Me and my son have solved it dozens of times. I solve it in about 45 minutes, because this is therapeutic for me and I don't speed through it. My son can solve it closer to 30 minutes. All the stickers are still on it and look good, except for a few fingernail chips here and there. I keep reminding my son to clip his fingernails before solving this cube. I have been using silicon cube lube on it regularly and it still turns as smoothly as when it was new - try not to use the oil based yo yo lube as that will dissolve the sticker glue and make the stickers fall off - I did this on my son's 4x4x4. I would highly recommend this cube as it doesn't have the even cube parities (4x4x4, 6x6x6) and is simpler to solve. This is a good time waster when on an airplane or waiting in the doctors office. My son loves taking it to dinner and showing off to the waiter/waitress. Just purchased the Shengshou 9x9x9 and now will see how that turns out.

I was fairly dissatisfied with the 6x6x6 Shengshou cube I purchased a few weeks ago as it was very difficult to turn and felt like it was going to pop at any moment. Recently while my dad was playing with the cube, it did in fact pop and pieces went everywhere. It took a while to get the cube back together and while it seems to turn better now, I'm still not confident in its durability. As a result I considered not getting another Shenshou cube, but the reviews of the 7x7x7 convinced me otherwise.

As usual the cube arrived on time and in the same box as my other Shengshou cubes. This cube however is noticeably larger than my others. While the 4, 5, and 6 cubes are roughly the same size, this cube is over a dwarfs the other cubes in both size and weight. This is good however because it is much easier to work with although it does tire my hand out a bit when turning it. Speaking of turning it, while my 5 and 6 cubes, took some time to break in and smooth out, this cube is pretty smooth right out the box. Even though the cube was covered in a thin film of grease when I took it out the box, the cube turned just fine well before I worked all the grease in.

I've already solved it a few times and never did I ever feel like it was going to pop on me even when turning it fast.

In addition, this cube comes with an extra set of stickers which is new to me since my other cubes did not. I haven't problem with peeling yet, but if I do, then its good I have a spare set. I wish my 6x6x6 came with extra stickers as the stickers on that are peeling all over the place.

I am very pleased with this cube and very glad I decided to give Shengshou another chance instead of spending over $40 for V-cube 7x7x7. I may eventually get the the v-cubes but for now I am satisfied with my Shengshou cubes (well most of them). I just wish my 6x6x6 cube and the 2x2x2 cube I returned had the same quality as this one.

Perfect!

I thought this would keep my son busy for a while. It took him only two days to solve it the first time but he's got it down now. He even puts patterns on it now like his initials or USA.

Cube slides good and feels good in the hand, not too big, and the squares aren't too small. Only one square is a little proud (taller than all the rest) it's a center square. In my case it's green, doesn't affect solving ability, just a tad annoying because that's generally where I'll hold the cube to solve (in the middle), also the only reason I'm giving 3 stars instead of 5
I suspect it's a manufacturing defect and it's hard to notice

Stiff but workable, not for speedsters.

I am NOT a speed cuber, BUT I am enjoying working my way up thru the various difficulty levels of cubes. This one is really stiff but I like it better than the rather loose 6x6 cube that I last spent time solving. Once you've learned the moves needed to solve the 4x4 you have the basis to move up to these more complex cubes. The colors on this are darker, more subdued, than my other less complex cubes. That isn't what slows me down. Because of its size, and stiffness, I can't flip this one the way I can with the 3/4/5 sided cubes. Actually the 6x6 was a slowdown due to its size and this one is bigger.

Good Cube, But Seems Fragile

Its a good cube and I am impressed with how well it turns for being the size it is, but its also fragile. Pieces feel like they may pop out when solving at a very average speed. A few times now I've had a piece or two pop out mid solve (often when moving between two different types of rotations). Luckily I was able to stop immediately and figure out how to pop the piece back in without the whole thing falling apart or breaking, but it definitely has me worried about the long term. I don't know that I'd be able to put it all back together if it ever fell apart.

I was hesitant at first to try a 7x7x7... not knowing how on earth it could work, how hard to solve (or break down), or the reputation of the off-brand maker. But I have really happy with my purchase. The plastic is durable and the cube is well made.

I took the one star off for the stickers being less durable than the pieces. One has been nicked and won't go back down. It wasn't like that from the factory so it must have been in use. No sheet of replacement stickers was included.

This cube is not likely to pop, or have center pieces oriented, but when the cube came in the mail, I opened it up and began using it. The stickers were aligned horribly, it would lock up quite frequently, when I turned it, the centers would move back and forth, it can't corner cut even 1/10 of a piece. This cube is not a speed cube. However when I opened it, it wasn't covered in lube like most Shengshou puzzles. This cube is not likely to pop, so that's why it gets 3/5 stars.

I purchased this for my son who is an amateur Rubik's cube enthusiast. It turns smoothly for as large as it is. There is a white sticker that began to peel a bit but it was picked at by a younger child. The other stickers have remained in place with each use.

We are very happy with our purchase and would recommend this to others.

A few of the colored pieces where loose in the packaged when it arrived but I was able to re-attache them. I gave it to my brother as a gift because he loves rubiks cubes and I wanted to give him a challenge. As far as I know it has staying in tact since he started using it. It was smaller than expected, but turns easily. It shipped within the time it said it would, but it took like 20 days to arrive, but I used the cheapest shipping option.
