LOVE them!

I stumbled over Squigz when I was researching Christmas presents that would make a great gift for my 8 year old nephew who has Down Syndrome. I ended up ordering 2 starter sets because they looked and sounded so cool. The second set is for my 1 1/2 and 3 year old grandkids. Of course, as soon as they arrived I had to open the set I will give my grands so I could make sure they were going to be fun for the kids... 😄 after about an hour of " testing" my husband and I decided we approved but maybe we should store them at our house so we can "test" them frequently 😂😂 seriously, they are a blast to play with! To help with your own testing here are some things we discovered: besides sticking to each other they will stick to cabinets, walls, kitchen appliances, the bottom of tables and chairs and on, well, the list is pretty endless. Our favorite place to stick them? Our foreheads, faces, cheeks, neck, elbows, knees...
*The only teeny problem we encountered was a result of packing, not the actual Squigz. They came packed in a box with several other items I had purchased. When I opened the box, there was only a small strip of packing bubbles and the items were loose in the box. The bottom of the tube of Squigz I opened had cracked. A piece of the plastic container had broken off and some of the Squigz had scattered throughout the box. I would not have been able to gift that set. Since it was for my grandkids I was able to keep them and will use a plastic tub for storage.

sQUIGS are AMAZING ... for your own kids or the youngsters in your life!

Several years ago I recieved a sample pack of Squigz as part of a monthly kids toy subscription ... the Squigz quickly became the bathtime toy of choice. We carefully collected each Squigz when we moved to our new home and now 2 years later we've expanded our collection. My 4yo boy is very excited to now have enough Squigz to bridge the bathtub and make amazing space stars! And of course, the best part, they suction to walls, foreheads, and super FUN to play with. I highly recommend Squigz for the younger kids (my daughter is 6 and still enjoys playing with them). As a bath toy they are amzaing ... easy to clean, very very durable (haven't damaged one yet), and FUN. Squigz would make an amazing present for the nieces/nephews/grandkids in your life!

fun, expensive, worth it

The kids love these. Stick them to the bath tub, to the sliding door, to the kitchen cabinets, to the oven door (if you lock the oven), stick them to just about anything. They work on car windows, granite countertops, lap boards, mirrors ... endless building possibilities. Tested with 9 month old, 1.5 year old, 3.5 year old, 6 year old and all love to stick them and pop them off and build towers. The 1.5 year old actually says "squigs". They sink so if you use them in the pool be prepared to dive for them. The only drawback so far is that they are $1 each which is kinda expensive.

They stopped sticking?
by coloRADokay (3 out of 5 stars)

My son's OT uses these with my son and he loves getting sensory input from them. We bought our own and we've had them for maybe a week and at least 10 of the 25 just stopped sticking? At basically a dollar a piece I kind of am shocked that they stopped working so quickly. Nothing has changed, they're not damaged in any way but for some reason they just will not stick to flat surfaces that they used to. For the ones that do work, they work amazingly well thank goodness! I just wish they all worked!

Exclusively buying Fat Brain Toys for the next few years

I'm not sure if I would have bought these if I hadn't seen them in person first. You cannot understand how entertaining these are for children (and some adults) until you see them in person. I went on a vacation with my brother and his family who had a package of Squigz. These are amazing to travel with on planes! You just suction one end to a table, arm rest, or window and your kid is entertained for a good half hour. I ordered a set to have waiting for us by the time we got back from vacation.

Interesting and durable for toddler and up

Not as entertaining as I'd hoped but still a cute gift for my 2 year old son and his same-age second cousins. We've stuck them to tables, white boards, windows and other furniture around the house. They stick pretty well, and stick well to each other. For younger kids, these are near indestructible which is great. Heavy duty silicone. I wouldn't recommend them for children who have to chew on everything because I can't find anything that says they are BPA-free and they could pose a choking risk but the occasional chew won't hurt the actual toy. 25 pieces is enough to play around with but not build anything too impressive- its all pretty free-form so if you're looking to make buildings or dinosaurs, you might need a few sets or look for something else. I think jewelry might be the only recognizable thing you could make with this. My son loves it regardless. My 5 year old daughter too; kept them busy for about an hour last night. As an adult, i think they're pretty cool but wish we had more- I just think the price is a touch high to go crazy buying sets of these. Nice little gift idea though- I might get more for my daughter's schoolmates' parties.

My boys had very little interest in these after we purchased them, which was frustrating considering the price. Then one day they got moved to the bathroom and viola, instant hit! Really great bathtub toy! They are incredibly sturdy and well constructed.

Fun, durable and exciting STEM toy!

These Squigz are a big hit in our house! They're a favorite to just stick together and pull apart (they make a "silly sound"). We've also used them to build off the tables and windows. Next up is sticking them to the window and dropping balls down through them! My 2 1/2 year old stays entertained for 10-15 minutes of independent play with these (a big win!), but mostly they're fun for the entire family. They don't take up a lot of space, they're very durable, and they provide a satisfying "pop" when pulled apart, plus a great texture/size for little hands. I think these will be great in the preschool years and beyond for teaching addition and subtraction too! Fun for the entire family, a great way to keep little hands busy and easy clean up-- these are a total winner at our house!

Perfect for babies, toddlers, and kids of all ages

These are awesome for younger tots to stick on windows, refrigerators, car windows on long drives, bathtubs, showers, etc. Babies love to chew on their soft silicone body that holds up amazing! Older kids love throwing them up in the air seeing who can get it to stick to the ground on the first shot, or fling them at windows to see who can get one to stick. A win for all ages and we have bought multiple sets for our family and other families!

I stand firm, they should be in all preschools! I love these so much, and they're so versatile! Our 2 1/2 year old uses them on windows, her table, the bath, and the fridge! I highly recommend these.
