My man-child husband no longer destroys all our groceries

My husband is a huge fan of the World's Strongest Man competition, and (rather pathetically for a 35 year old man) likes to pretend that he is doing a strongman event called the 'farmer's walk' when it comes time to take the groceries in from the car.

In World's Strongest Man, they carry enormous iron weights for as great a distance as they can manage in 60 seconds. My husband tries to carry literally every bag at once into the house from the car, while providing a live commentary on his 'legendary' performance. I am SO lucky, right? Hands off ladies, he's taken. Anyhow, his stupid game usually results in every item we just bought at the store getting squished and smashed to pieces.

I therefore bought this product in order to save my sanity... and it's great! He gets to make believe he is of anything other than slightly below average strength after we visit Stop n' Shop, and my groceries don't get smashed to pieces. Highly recommend this product.

I Deliver Groceries, and these are a MUST HAVE!

I deliver groceries for a local Grocery Store. After my first week I bought these. They are an absolute MUST! At almost every place I deliver, people express great interest in them, asking me where I got them, how good they work, etc.

These mighty handles allow me to:
- carry multiple bags at once
- easily set down and pick up a whole handful of bags (for instance, to ring a doorbell)
- save trips
- keep the bread, eggs, and other delicate grocery items from being crushed by placing them on the outside (last)
- carry several pounds at the same time
- save my fingers from getting rubbed raw or losing circulation from carrying dozens of bags each day

The secret to setting down and picking up without losing any bags is simple: Set the bags down and give the handle a twist, thus locking the bags in place.

I have literally used these 30-40 hours a week for the past 3 months. They are amazingly helpful.

My sole complaint about this is that it didn't exist twenty years ago, because it could have saved me so much aggravation over the years!

I am 100% one of those people who would rather dislocate both my arms and have them fall off halfway between my car and front door than make two trips with grocery or shopping bags. Many times I have had thin plastic bag handles sawing through my hands.

This could solve one of the most perplexing mysteries of California, too: why there are shopping carts literally everywhere in grocery parking lots EXCEPT the cart returns. People, buy one of these and you can carry all your bags to your car! You can leave the cart at the store and not in your $&@# parking space!

Also, the trick of twisting them all closed inside your vehicle and not slinging your groceries from side to side when you drive home... brilliant. Buy this amazing hunk of plastic without delay!

The Mighty Handle has saved me money. More than once, I have been driving home from the grocery store and after a sharp turn on a quick stop I hear the dreaded noise of all my grocery bags rolling and crashing into one another! Once it was spilled milk even...that is hard to clean up!

I like to take the handle out when I bring my grocery cart to the car, wrap my bags around it, then I can place all my bags in the car at once. I twist it so the bags stay in place while I drive.

I will use this when I pick up my husbands dry-cleaning as well. I always have to make a couple trips to put all his shirts in my trunk and half the time the shirts slide all around...can't wait to try the handle!

OK, I admit I'm that guy who will overload trying to carry as many grocery bags possible to minimize trips. Yes. Guilty. The downside? Those darn loop handles of the plastic bags turn into something like razor wires and feel like they are slicing the tendons of my fingers. And I suspect one day I will lose a finger or two that way. I had a couple OXO firm rubber handles that you slide the plastic bag handles into. Those are awesome, but you can't find them anymore, and they only carried a couple bags each. So I've tried all kinds of different replacements. Thanks to the Mighty Handle, I can leave them all in the junk drawer and I can stop looking for more. The Mighty Handle is perfect for saving your fingers, while allowing you to carry a ton of bags and weight. And people who have seen me using them at the local Safeway are always asking me about them. I could tell that more than a few were likely considering how to take me down in the parking lot so they could separate me from these cool handles. Luckily, none of them were fast enough to act out on that plot and I had time to explain to them how inexpensive and easy to buy the handles are. I will be buying more to give as gifts because they're practical and will save people time and pain. .

The mighty handle does what it claims very well. It is solidly constructed enough for even large grocery trips. The handle is comfortable enough though wrapping it with sports grip tape makes it even better.

If you're looking for something to get groceries from your car to your house or up to your apartment, then this is a very good product. The wide open section allows for easy attaching and detaching of grocery bags and the handle is large enough to attach enough bags onto it to make a bodybuilder sweat.

If you live in a dense urban area like me and wanted this to carry groceries for long distances, then this handle has some flaws. First, after gripping it, there is another 6 inches of distance before the hang point for your bags. If you're under 5'7" tall this makes walking precarious as the bags will drag on the ground every once in a while, and walking up stairs is an intense bicep workout. Second, the bags handles concentrate on the bottom most point, so if you have several fatter bags, they'll push in or outward making them hit your leg as you walk. Finally, the large loading space is good for quick trips, but if you are going to travel with them for some time and you need to put your bags down once in a while, it is quite easy for a handle or two to slip off.

The product is perfectly fine. It just didn't suit the purpose I bought it for.

These handles are great but, compared to others I have, the bags hang a bit lower so if you are short (under 5' 2") a supermarket shopping bag may drag on the ground. I do like that they are sturdy and flat so they are easy to carry around. They definitely help to protect your hands from damage that can be caused by carring heaving plastic shopping bags (I know this from painful experience).

My husband and I keep one in each car trunk. We like to think that two trips are for pussies. So we keep these on hand. We buy a lot of groceries at a time, and we're able to carry all the bags at once, without tearing up our arms.

I try to give my kids and relatives items that will make their lives easier and since my kids, nieces, and nephews all have stairs and long walks to their doors, I thought I'd try these out first! I'm so impressed with how sturdy they are! I had tried carrying in multiple items or grocery sacks using other methods to little avail. These are another story! I'm ordering them for all!

These are AWESOME. Best Grocery Tote design I've found. Very well made, strong, sturdy and lightweight. Handles are a firm rubber padding that help comfortably bear the weight of the load. The TWO hooks on each handle are large and have a large "throat" (opening) that allows you to add almost as many bags as you want. You can even "sometimes" use the handle itself to "hook" multiple grocery bags with one hand and not even touching the bag with the other hand. Another neat thing I discovered by accident is when you sit your entire load down to use that hand to say, open a door or refrigerator.. you can often simply pick up the entire load without having to re-loop the bags.

I live in an upstairs apartment with SIXTEEN steps in a row up to my front door.. and have about a 40 yard walk from my car to the base of the steps. These handles allow me to EASILY tote all or most of all of my grocery bags from car to my apartment. Before I was using almost every finger on both hands to struggle the bags to my apartment... with some pain in some of my fingers.

I'm purchasing MORE of these today for Xmas presents. If a rating of 10 stars were available here, I would certainly give these a 10!

These are 100% recyclable. Dishwasher Safe and ** MADE in the USA *** !!! I love buying great products that are Made in the USA!
