I bought it some time ago and am just now installing it - thus the late review. It is a good number of pieces and the attachment system is largely unusable. I chose to install a solid wood backing attached to the studs in my garage, allowing for a deeper shelf than designed. The end pieces upper attachments don't line up with the mid-supports elements.

Over all the shelf is sturdy and theoretically re-usable but the rods fit so firmly into the end pieces that I would rather not attempt to reassemble them for use elsewhere.

The open shelf design gives you many options - hanging, tying, securing. I use the shelves for milk crates and it does very well. The adjustable nature of the shelving is ideal for use in my garage. There is a minimum length of 4 feet.
