A decent zombie slaying hatchet that gets used. Decent weight and no issues yet. Bought this and about 15 other styles of knives and hatchets for my son's 10 year birthday gift (no worries, he's heavily supervised and has smarts). He uses them almost daily in a "Forged in Fire" style torture test (on the irons, not living things... yet...). So far they've survived and he's taken very good care of them. He sharpens them frequently whether they need it or not.

Decently metal with poor cord handle wrapping

My son asked me for a throwing ax - a strange enough request, but one I went with. He saw this on Amazon and I placed the order. The thing is solid enough in terms of the metal - it holds up well to continued throwing (and missing). Where it falls short for me is in the cord wrapping. It's really cheaply done and began to fray and come off within the first week or so of use. For the $10 price, it's worth it. If you want something really well made, invest in something else.

I bought this because I had heard they were being banned in Europe. Combined with the fact I'm an Uber walking dead fan. It's good quality for the price. I was surprised when I got a two for one. I didn't know the smaller blade was included. Sadly I haven't used it but it is hanging by the back door. Ha! I can recommend this product. Mike

great shape and style.

did not like the wrapping on the hilt/handle, so I pulled it and redid it. using para cord i had.[will post pics later]

edge not that sharp, but i fear sharpening it would ruin the edge...

I was surprised at the size. 2/3-3/4 of what i was expecting, but It fits my hand, and just flows in the air.

This is a gift for my bro-in-law (who is all about being prepared for the upcoming Zombie Apocolypse lol). He's a collector of blades, swords, etc & he flipped when he saw this. It's made of what seems to be quality material & feels great in the hand with some weight to it. The case is simple but durable. If you have a 'blade' collector in your family this is a no-brainer!

Fun blade

This is obviously just a katchkee. It has no practical purpose but it is fun to look at. It weighs only 8.6 oz, much too light to do any kind of damage. A nice addition to your blade collection for just a little humor. Don't know why the green one is more expensive than the orange.

Amazing, I love this thing. It's a fathers day gift. Making the house an apocalypse seething and having a mission, this is going to be used as a prop (for a responsible adult haha) I'm sure he'll find a purpose for it afterwards.

Throws well without the lacing but the tip is extremely fragile and broke in a soft wood board definitely not high quality but extremely fun to play with does need to have the tip cut down in my opinion. The tip was warped and broken within an hour of play time.
