Difficult, if not impossible for lightly textured walls

I bought this for my son's bedroom to complement the Avenger's theme. It looks awesome and has a realistic feeling to it, plus functioning as a beautiful night light. LED lights should ensure that the batteries are not drained quickly.. Applying the wall decal was a challenge on my textured wall surface and it was a test of sheer will power and patience. Applying the screws and mounting the hammer on was a walk in the park. All in all, this is an excellent purchase and with proper care it should last a long time. Thanks for making this wonderful product. TIP: Cracked wall decal is recommended for flat surfaces, but not impossible to install for lightly textured surfaces (difficulty level: 9 out of 10 on textured walls!)

My son has a ton of Avengers room decorations. This was his favorite, but the light (which he used as a nightlight) stopped working after less than two months. It's an led, and there doesn't appear to be a way to fix it. As an aside, my friend bought one of these as well and his light. stopped working after 5 months.

Tricky sticker

My boys LOVE it! It is super easy to get put up on the wall! However, the only thing that's a little tricky about it is the sticker that goes onto the wall to give it that cracked effect. I ended up using a sharp knife to help peel off the sticker so I can get it to transfer to the wall as I was pulling the paper off. Because some parts didn't come off and weren't transferring to the wall so I had to essentially do it manually. But, none the less I got it figured out and it worked!

Application - it was easy to install but the way it instructs you to apply is more difficult than implied. I was able to remove it completely from the paper it came with and placed it gently back onto the parchment paper. Once I put it on the wall and pressed firmly, good to go. Glow - just enough glow in my son's dark room to make a dramatic impression. Love the way it looks with the other wall night lights Quality - it is made of fairly durable plastic. The LED lighting ensures that there will not be any over heating issues. I only wish they were remote controlled, but toggle the switch is not that big of a hassle. O

It's a cool wall decoration if you are a marvel fan. The he hammer lights up nicely. He switch is easy to access. It would have been nice to have a remote switch so that kids can turn it off before going to sleep without having to get up from their bed. My only complaint is that the sticker which looks like there's a crack in the wall does not stick that well to the wall and bubbles out aftereards. While the hammer manages to hold the entire sticker on the wall you can't help but notice some of the edges and inside portions where the sticker begins to bubble off.

Don't overpay

It's okay. The light is a dark blue, so this is definitely more of a night-light than anything. It isn't super secured to the wall though, and it's a little flimsy. The decal was a huge pain in the rear to place on the wall.

Not bad for the price, but I wouldn't buy it again.

These light are super cute! Didmy sons room in Avengers so of course I had to buy every light that there was for his wall. He sleeps with them on every night, Just a pain in the morning to turn them off. The switch to turn it off is really small and hard to do one handed. I have to hold the hammer in one had and use the other to flip the switch. Would be great if they had a timer or a sensor to turn off by themselves in the morning. Overall I am pleased with it and would buy it again. Wish they had a Thor face to go with the hammer like they do for the others,

Ordered this as a gift for my daughter's new room. The sticker went on easily, despite the wall being lightly textured. It takes some doing to get the right angle on it, but that the sticker marks out where the screws go to mount the hammer is a huge help. Also, I was worried that when we move that we would be out the sticker. Found out I can order new ones! It's a very subtle glow and we are able to leave it on all night without it disturbing her. Still enough light that it has saved me many stubbed toes.

Cool wall light

My son loves this light. It glows a cool blue and casts a neat light in a dark room. Not as harsh on the eyes as some other nightlights. The on/off switch is tiny and difficult to find, though. And the cracked plaster sticker was hard to rub onto the wall. Part of the black color on one line came totally off. It still creates a nifty effect if you ignore that one bit!

Cool and different!

This is so cool. Huge hit with my 5 year old son. Sticker looks like a real crack. Not super bright but I dont want a very bright night light. Didnt use the mollys and its holding fine in sheetrock. Very light weight. Attached it just high enough that my son cant pull on it and rip it out of the wall.
