I like it. I have some real old ones that have the ridges on the inside of the outside tines. They both work about the same. The bumps are less noticeable in my mouth with the older ones. Not a deal breaker though. If adults don't care for them, I think the children would certainly benefit since pasta is hard for children to eat with regular forks.

Terrific kitchen gadget for eating pasta. I bought extra sets for gifts. I know one set is getting gifted to one goofy old guy I work with who eats pasta left-overs nearly each day for lunch. The breakroom bunch will enjoy not seeing him struggle to keep his noodles on his fork anymore as we all have endured it a long time. Kids' size great too, as his Grandchildren may inherit his style, or lack there of, eating pasta.

These are a over priced novelty item. Not a quality piece and would not reorder at any price. Difficult to properly clean. Nice conversation piece.
