I bought this light for my father's nightstand (initially falling in love with the design). When I read the reviews here I was scared it may not be bright enough, but when I received the item I realized my concerns were unfounded. The lamp functions excellent as a night light, and I don't see how could anyone have any issue with it (unless they're reading War & Peace sitting 30 feet away). In fact on the brightest setting it may be too bright if you're trying to fall asleep. If you're planning to use it in the living room, it would best serve as an accent light.

Cool product but poorly designed

I love the look of this product. It's very unique and lights the room up very well. The only drawback is the fact that the dimming function is extremely unreliable. You have to tap the bottom metal portion to dim it, but it often doesn't recognize touch. It often takes a few tries. Then, if you have it dimmed and want to turn it off, you have to turn the brightness up all the way before doing so. It was so annoying that I ended up returning the lights.

I'm happy with my purchase, as the lamp is exactly as advertised . I use it for mood or ambience lighting and it's perfect for those applications .

What can I say. This is a beautiful lamp and I plan to get another.

It is not super bright.

It is best for TV room or home office room where you don't want the room to be completely dark since a dark room will tire your eyes easily if you stare at TV or computer monitor too long. For the TVroom, I actually put this under the end table, so the light is out of sight but still gives comfortable amount of light for watching TV.

For the $, quite the warm, bright light I wanted - which is unusual for LED's. When off, they disappear into the background which is what I wanted.

I think some of these reviews are too critical of the dimming functionality. I am more than happy to choose form over function with this lamp. There are too many ugly or overpriced lamps on the market -- This lamp is a breath of fresh air!

Quit Working After Static Shock

This is a neat looking light, but mine quite working after I static shocked it. There seems to be a problem with the electronics such that it's not protected from this.
