Hi quality, well engineered tool that facilitates a range of body positions and collaboration.

I'm typing this review while standing at my WorkFit-A Sit-Stand Workstation for Apple - I LOVE it!

I've been using the Workfit with my new iMac in my private office for just over 2 months now, but I had it for less than a week before I bought a second one for the show room of my my kayak store in Manhattan. My employees love it, and our customers really like it, too. Our experience has been that the ability to effortlessly change from sitting to standing while working with a desktop computer enhances our alertness, reduces fatigue, and makes it easy to collaborate. It's incredibly well made. We sell high end technical kayaks, SUP boards and gear; the WorkFit and Apple products fit right into our environment.

We teach lots of beginners here, and we're very familiar with the phenomenon of people inappropriately using established movement patterns and habits in new situations. People already know how to stand, but when they stand on a Stand Up Paddleboard as if they were standing on the sidewalk, they wind up swimming! The heavy duty hinges and tension rods that allow you to effortlessly change your workstation from sitting to standing positions and swivel the display from side to side are going to behave differently than a stationary desk. I didn't realize how hard I was hitting the keyboard until I started working with the WorkFit. It didn't take me long to adapt by not hitting the keyboard as if I were playing honky tonk piano. Also, I learned to tension the system by lightly pressing my thumb on the tray while typing. By learning to adapt to this new tool, we've increased our comfort, health, and productivity. Unequivocal 5 stars!

Love this workstation

My only complaint is that it wobbles. Once you get used to it, it is easier to tolerate. Since it is designed for the large iMac and large Apple monitors, it is really solidly built. I like being able able to swivel it besides raising it up and down. It might take a call to support for some people to adjust the tension. Tools are included in the box. I also like the large aluminum desk that is integrated into the design. Keyboard table tilts up and down also.

Solid, well built and readily adjustable.

Stand arrived well packed and as described early in the delivery window. Stand is very substantial and even though I have a custom desk, it is so sturdy we were able to make it work well and get it properly adjusted without problems by following the well described and pictured directions. I have not thought it wobbly at all; very normal give. One thing I did not anticipate is amount if space to go from sit to stand so I have to swivel it, but that is easy and may be due to unusual mounting on a custom built L shaped desk placed in a corner. Only thing I anticipate is an occasional tightening of the lift adjustment to keep it in stand position, but it takes literally 15 seconds. Very satisfied and feeling benefits already!

Neck & shoulder pains have been reduced!

Absolutely one of the best investments I have made for my health. I stand up about 50% of the day now. It's easy to rotate my computer around and see out the window while working. It takes two people to assemble as it is heavy. I consider the workstation very stable. My iMac is 21.5" workstation is mounted onto the back edge on a heavy duty Steelecase desk. Some reviews say the keyboard is "shaky" but I consider it a "soft bounce". I like the bounce because my typing now has a steady rhythm and my typing speed has improved. My old under-the-desk keyboard tray always got in the way. This workstation moves quickly out of the way for easy vacuuming and cleaning! Very modern looking - Love it!!

21.5" iMac users can't lose with this.

Perfect for the iMac 21.5 inch, but I wouldn't attempt using it with the 27-inch iMac (weight). Hardware is really solid (it's quite heavy when assembled). You should have a socket wrench and socket kit around just in case. The socket wrench that comes with it is really poor quality. Instructions were clear for assembly. Be sure to tighten everything really well, and even if you do, it will loosen over time, especially the swivel that tilts the iMac left or right. The keyboard/mouse tray is really large...plenty of room for extended Apple keyboard and mouse. The arm has good cable hiding channels. I chose to clamp it to my desk since it had a lip that allowed the clamp to tighten. Overall, excellent for iMac 21.5 owners.

Completely disappointed in this product

Completely disappointed in this product. I should have paid closer attention to the other reviews, because the warnings were clearly there. Biggest issued is that this unit cannot support an iMac 27-inch screen (Thunderbolt Display) as advertised. It creates a work surface that is entirely too wobbly. As someone who is on my keyboard and write about 8 hours a day, this wobble factor is simply unacceptable. Also, as other reviews warn, the finish begins to chip and wear almost immediately. And finally, when disassembling it so I can return it, learned that the keyboard tray cannot be removed.Absolutely frustrating. Might work if you have a 21-inch screen. But, if you have the Thunderbolt Display, don't buy this product.

Glad I did not let complaints about wobbling deter me

We have a 21 1/2 inch Mac, not a 27 inch. But we find any wobbling or movement less than insignificant. It is trivial. Negligible. This is an finely engineered product. Normally when I have to put things together I will whine and gripe and moan about how poorly designed it is, how opaque the instructions are etc. None of that here. The way it fits together and installs exhibits real thoughtfulness. It is expensive, granted. But when you buy an Apple product you have to resign yourself in advance to also paying more for their peripherals. Bought it for my wife as a Christmas gift and we both wound up loving it.

Excellent product. Back saver. Slight shake

Only two downers which are 1) There will never be absolute stillness while working with your keyboard or illustrating tablet (but I found that it did not affect the quality of my work; and 2) The paint finish comes off on your fingers when moving your mouse.

Otherwise, this has saved me thousands in chiropractic bills and therapists. Working while I stand is a breeze and an easy conversion to sit down and work as well. I've used this to edit major commercial projects and loved it.

Great product for desk ergonomics!

Compliments my work area well. So much better for my ergonomics - and for those who spend a lot of time at the computer. Much better for your shoulders and wrists. Nice to have both a sitting and standing option. Love how the keyboard is a drop-down.

This is fantastic. Solid
by Supercooper (5 out of 5 stars)

This is fantastic. Solid, well made. It is heavy so just beware that you don't want to be taking this upstairs or any place very far without help. Make sure your work surface is narrow enough so that the key board shelf will actually overhand your work surface when seated. My desk is too wide so it means the key board is about 3 inches elevated beyond where I would normally have the keyboard when seated. Not a problem for me just a bit annoying. Entirely my fault. Everyone in my office wants one now.
