Surprizingly difficult to use. I'm extremely water fit. Very proficient in all water sports and I have yet to go 100 feet on this. It floats by itself but you must take off from a dry dock. A beach won't work. Looks easy but is anything but. No specific instructions. Very disappointed for such a well designed and built product. Product came very quickly exceeding expectations. No damage in shipping. Product itself is of very high quality and this is not a toy but a sophisticated construction with very high degree of quality over all. Small issue where one of the sets of bolts needed an Allen key size that was not provided in the tool bag. Also, one has to play with the large hydrofoil's bolt placement to ensure accurate fit but is easily understood when you're in the process. Paper instructions for building are very clear and comes with a DVD. The overall satisfaction is very high. Now, I just have to master this highly exciting exercise vehicle on my lake. Not sure how far I will get before I become exhausted!

difficult to get the hang of but a lot of fun when you do. 3 drawbacks, 1/. it's tiring even if you are v fit, 2/. the front bit is fragile 3/. if you stop, stall whatever you can't start again in the water from scratch, you have to drag it back to shore or the launch site.
