From a decorative standpoint, it is fantastic--exactly what I was expecting. I thought the bench would be heaver than it is; it is plastic and hollow, when I thought it would be something more solid. Therefore, you really cannot set the bench in the yard. On a paio or porch, however, it would work just fine. The family loves it, and our (silly) dogs barked at the bench until they realized it wasn't going to bark back.

I didn't expect it to be so loooonnnngggg! Guess I read the size but didn't envision it, but it's great and a fantastic addition to our dachshund home. It's at the front door, greeting guests and giving us a place to put things down (and not on the ground wher the real doxie can get to it!) before entering the house. Whimsical, affordable, useful -- what more can you want from a large stiff dog!?!
