INSTRUCTIONS First, the seeds must be stratified. Let them soak in warm water for twenty four hours, with a 10% mixture of hydrogen peroxide to reduce potential molding. If the seeds are good, then they should have sunk to the bottom of the container. After a day has passed, wrap them in a wet paper towel and place them in a sealed zip lock bag, then set them in a secure part of your fridge for 4 – 8 weeks. Keep a close eye on them during this time. These steps are done to trick the seeds into thinking they’ve just gone through winter, so they’ll be getting ready for spring. Once the time is up, plant them in the potting mix no more than a ¼ of an inch under. Lightly mist the surface to make sure they are moist, but not wet. Place them in an area with bright indirect sun with a temperature of about 60 – 70F.

I received this kit about eight weeks ago and began to stratify the seeds on the same day. This method is easy to do and not very time consuming. you simply let the seeds set in hotish water and let them set for about 24 hours it is good to add a little hydrogen perxoside to the water to pervent molding later. if any seeds are still floating by the of that time frame it means they aren't good. then you place them in a moist paper towel in a zip lock bag, finally placing them at the bottom of your fridge for between 4 to 8 weeks. check on them once a week and after this time frame you can move them into the pot and keep them watered. The pot and everything mentioned in the description came in the package and looks great. I have 2 of the seeds growing, one in the back corner and he'll be moved once he's grown more they are in the picture. the important thing to remember with trees is that they have all the time in the world to grow, and they take patience. they'll grow with they think they've gone through winter and are comfy in their new home.

Followed instructions that were provided however after doing further research I found out you have to soak the seeds 24 to 48 in warm water, then place them in a zip lock bag with a wet paper towel in the fridge for about 4 to 8 weeks. NONE of this information is on the instructions that is provided with the items. I had to take the seeds out of the pot and place them in water to soak and all seeds are floating which only mean one thing and ONE thing only and that is any seeds that float are probably empty shells and are not usually viable for germination. Meaning nothing is going to sprout and ALL FIVE of my seeds are floating. So disappointed because I felt that this would be a cool little thing my sings and I can have as one of "our thing" as well teach them responsibility and how to take care of another living organism as well respect it.

Cute pot but that's only useful with seeds that grow something. :-/

The kit was fine. Seemed to be everything I needed. I followed the instructions to the letter but 8 weeks later, nothing is happening with the seeds.

They just arrived and I'm up for a challenge. I've been growing bonsai for nearly 10 years, and I've never seen or had a pot the size of a a small votive candle. After contacting 9GreenBox, on this issue, and the issue with damaged seeds, they are sending a replacement. Which should be able to prove beneficial to proper bonsai growth.

After a couple of month of receiving, plating and taking much care of it. I've had to accept the fact that nothing is growing. I did everything according to the instructions. I'm very sad I really like this tree and I was very much expecting at least one would sprout.

I planted the seeds per the instructions. 5 seeds and not 1 took. $10 dollars for the smallest pot I have ever seen, a bag of dirt, and 5 seeds that were all bad. can't say much but, one of the worst things I have ever bought. didn't get a bonsai.

I received three seeds, I'd hardly say that qualifies as "several". I also see others saying they got 5. Here's hoping I get one sprouted. Not worth the price.

Didn't work for me... seeds were not good. I followed the instructions and no luck..
