The negative reviews were looking for a different type of product.

I'd like to clarify exactly what sort of thing this is.

It's a peanut butter sauce. It's thinner and softer than creamy peanut butter. It pours - sort of. Taking a spoonful of it, it will run off the spoon slowly, but still faster than any normal jarred peanut butter.

It is thicker than the Reese's Peanut Butter topping, which is very thin, and is made to be able to be drizzled.

This seems much better suited to room-temperature storage.

It is very close to the peanut butter topping used at Friendly's, which is exactly what we were looking for.

With a small amount of heating, it would probably pour exactly as people making sundaes would like. Personally, I think it works very well without it. Take a spoonful of it, mix it in with your ice cream in the bowl, and it's perfect.

I'll admit it. I bought this while drunk. One of those... you remember your first childhood peanut butter sundae from the corner stand? Yea. That's what you get here.
100% pure unadulterated peanut butter nostalgia.

Great peanut butter topping for ice cream or pancakes

My wife has been looking for peanut butter syrup for ice cream for years. Not something with chocolate in it, just peanut butter flavor. It's really hard to find in stores, we didn't even know it existed until I found it on Amazon. When I surprised her with it, she just about cried. This is almost exactly the same as the Reese's syrup in the 7-oz bottles, also available on Amazon, maybe just a bit thicker. If you are a peanut butter lover, this is definitely for you!

Expiration Date is too soon

Very disappointed. I ordered this on March 19, 2019. It had a big white sticker on it that said expiration 6-1-19. I peeled the sticker back and the true expiration date is 5/2019. I am unable to contact the seller for a refund. An expiration date further than a month and a half needs to be on the package. The frequently bought together option with the Heinz pump doesn't work either. The pump isn't short enough. We had to cut it to make it work. The lid wouldn't close.

The cost of this I thought was a bit much ($26!!) but every time we go to our local ice cream place they're always out of the peanut butter sauce. So I guess with the money we save by making our own sundaes etc. at home it will make up for the cost at least.

As for the flavor/consistency, it's pretty much spot on. It's more liquidy than regular peanut butter, but it doesn't quite drip (unless you bought the pump too, then it would be easier). I usually just get a spoon and try to drizzle it onto the ice cream...if you microwave it for a few seconds it helps to drizzle. The flavor is good, exactly like the peanut butter sauce in the ice cream shops.

I knocked it down a star for the price and also expiration is really soon (November and I bought it late August) so I doubt we'll be able to finish it before it expires, as much as my kids are trying to.

Overall I think it was worth the purchase, and when we run out I'm sure we'll get another. It's become the favorite ice cream topping in our household.

This peanut butter sauce is absolutely delicious. The only thing I'm a bit miffed about is that the pump that is advertised as "frequently bought together" does not fit. It's too tall. Even worse, the cap that came with the sauce had a crack in it, so I needed to force the pump onto the jar after opening it.

Worth the 25 dollars? No, but it is worth at least 18 or so. Delicious and goes great on ice cream. I am so happy with this it is the only one I'll buy now. It looks like it will last a long time, but if you love peanut butter as much as I do... It will be used up quite quickly!

...Every so often for hubby's b'day i would try to find this..

We tried many but no.. Some years i would just go there and buy a bunch in some cups..
..but now we have this..
.. At first..outa jar he said "mmmmm..I'm not sure.."

Then he tried again and said.. ".wait.. I think so but hafta try on ice cream"
... And so he did.. .3 servings later he plopped over on couch for a pb sundae coma nap lol

Like bland peanut butter mixed with a ton of extra peanut oil. This stuff is terrible. It wasn't fresh as advertised either. Received it with less than 2 months from expiration date of May/2019. I emailed Rebel Smuggling LLC. and they never responded. Will never purchase this or any other product from them again.

This is absolutely delicious, so fresh and creamy and really hit the spot! The expiration date is Sept. 2017, in case anyone's wondering about how long this is good for. This is also perfect to make Peanut Butter Shakes or Homemade Peanut Butter Cookies. If you like Peanut Butter Sauce, this stuff is the best!!!
