Totally misleading.

What i liked the most about this product is the sweetness of the bacon but like other viewers said, the bacon looked like it was just coated with sugar. This bacon cost $7.00 dollars but it only had about six of seven thin pieces of bacon in the pack. I guess it was a dollar for each piece. The picture is totally misleading. If you think you're going to get thick juicy pieces of meat think again. I was drawn to the sight of the picture on the website, that picture looked like the meat was thick glazed juicy meat but when you receive the package it's just plain 'ole bacon with sugar on it. What a waste of $7.00 dollars.

Listen carefully when we got this product, we looked at it and we all laughed! Buyer beware, what you see in the ad and what you get are two completely different things. I made a mistake in buying this and I completely regret the purchase. The product I got was thin, cheap, greasy beacon and as a buyer, it was an absolute insult. No one even ate it, we just threw it away. SHAME ON UOU CJ's ULTIMATE FOODS LLC!!!!! Shame on you for lying in your ad.

So very disappointed with this. Dosen't even look close to the pictures in the add and on top of that there were 3 lousy pieces in the package. And come to find out it's not even eligible for me to send back for a refund.

Pretty good - Inacurate picture though

First of all, if you're looking for candied bacon that looks like that picture, this is not it. If you've had candied bacon before- fresh candied bacon- this is also not it. This is more accurately, as they have specified, candied bacon jerkey. Imagine a piece of very tender beef jerkey. Now imagine this jerkey having been coated in a layer of brown sugar glaze. Like most classic candied bacon recipes, there was an added layer of brown sugar sprinkled onto it. Expect that. This is not a firm piece of candied bacon either. Like I said, it's very tender brown sugar bacon jerkey.

It's a good stand in for candied bacon, overall, especially when you're just sort of on the go and craving the real deal. The sweetness is stereotypical for a "candied product" and I don't mind it personally. The portion is sort of small, but then again, I understand why after having made candied bacon for years myself. Not bad for the price, honestly.

The shipping speed was pretty good. Arrived in 2 weeks because I'm in Asia and that is actually VERY fast.

Mine doesn't look as good as the picture on the ad. Took several weeks to get. Very disappointed. Tastes good not great. I could fry up some bacon, dip it in maple syrup and it would taste as good.

The BEST BACON JERKY!!

This product is amazing! I have tried other brand names with Bacon Jerky and they got nothing like this! I was a but skeptical at first and as opened the pouch. The smell alone is real good. I took a nice piece and let it settle in my mouth. Nice mix of Brown sugar and bacon. The meat it self was nice and tender, NOT DRY like other brands. I like my jerky a bit juicey and this one is by far the best Bacon Jerky i have ever tried! I just wish they sold this in the gas station. Lol super recommend this and will be buying more for gift!

Received the jerky today. Site says good for months, but when I got mine the jerky

is only good for a month and is nothing like the picture. It is not thick cut at all. It's so soft and falls over.

I ordered previously and thought it could be worth re-ordering. Thought is the key word. As you can see by my pictures and the contents, you may reconsider if you are reading this right now. They also include is a card with your package to take a picture of it, link and they will send you a free bag. No, they will not. I did exactly that with my first purchase and didn't receive a response but they did get the free publicity. I even re-posted and got zip. The bacon is not good, if you check the pictures you can see that it isn't appetizing to look nor eat. It leaves an aftertaste that is very strange as well. I can understand that shipping and weather conditions probably change the taste and the appearance somewhat but bottom line is, this is not worth any amount of money.

This was good, but the bacon seemed a bit under cooked for my preference. It was perfectly edible, but was more soft and also too sweet for my tastes. I'm sure many others would love it, but it just wasn't for me. I plan to give CJ's another try with different flavors because I think they have quality product, but I just need to find the one that I really like.

I am a confirmed porkaholic who was more than excited when my order of candied bacon jerky arrived in my mail. I started to eat the pieces of bacon before I even made it back upstairs from my mailbox.

How would I rate this bacon jerky? Two words- DELISH-OUS! The taste of the product took me back to my childhood days when for breakfast I would slather not only my pancakes with maple syrup, but my eggs and bacon as well.The slices are nice and thick, thank goodness, because there is not much bacon in the 32 oz. bag. The only fault I could find with the product was not with the bacon itself, but the packaging. I always read the Nutrition Facts on the back of products I purchase for consumption, and I could not find it anywhere on the bag. Now mind you, I know that candied pig is not the most sound nutritional choice. Even still, I like to glimpse how many carbs or sugars are in my serving.

This product is a must try for anyone who loves bacon, maple syrup, and brown sugar. You will not be disappointed with this yummy candied bacon. Why did I not order a dozen bags?
