This mask really is exactly what I hoped it was. I admit I was skeptical when reviewing their home website as their buy link was broken. They also don't describe the product as much as they describe their patent which was strange to me as a buyer. I have never bought a mask like this so I was fearful of making a rookie mistake as I am aware that EDM music has introduced a number of various competitor masks. I wanted one for Halloween for an EDM event. I contacted the product owner directly on Facebook through their product 'group page' but no response. It was because of that I found myself on Amazon.com as a Canadian (the product is unavailable on the .ca site) looking for that extra level of buyer protection.

Reason this gets 5 stars is because not only did the product meet all expectations - it also came equipped with a FREE black Alpinestars balaclava which I was unaware of. This helps you cover your skin tone if you are not naturally dark although I will admit it is not made for 6 feet tall people unless you have a tight collar t-shirt to match but it was free and this item alone can range from $10-$60 depending on where you source it. Regardless if I decide to use it or not, it will make for an extra accessory for my motorcycle gear - even if for a 2nd rider so I am very happy about this surprise.

The mask itself takes 4 AAA batteries (in form of 2 AAA battery packs) and the materials used were picked with weight and flexibility in mind. I cannot comment on durability yet but it does look like it will last a long time as long as you don't abuse it. The mask is attached to a black thick/light Velcro connectable strap at the back which would sit on your head like a topless hat or a folded bandanna and you can adjust the tightness. The battery packs are hidden within the strap and have volume sensitivity knobs (on each) and balance the weight of the mask and I will say it is the best placement for the batteries as I don't notice the weight of them at all.
