Didn't get what i expected, The cards are way more than i expected and the Mahogany Box is a great quality and sturdy. Tried soaking the cards in a cup of water for a few minutes and they came out mostly dry and still perfect. Cards are made great tried bending them for a period of time and they take back original shape with little effort.

Amazing cards..are way more than I expected and the Mahogany Box is a great quality.

My friends loved the cards and where asking me if they are actually made of golds. It was really fun to play with the cards. Quality of the cards is awesome.

I tried to soak in water, bend it but still they were perfect. Would suggest buying it to everyone.

I can't really say much about them since I bought these as a gift, but the cards did look REALLY cool in person! A lot better in person than it does in the picture. Comes with a certificate that seems to be made more of gold and less of paper because it feels very easy to tear, and is very thin (thinner than the actual cards). Box that it came in was neat too and has a pouch for the certificate.

Since the person I gave these to doesn't really play cards all that much but still likes them is kinda a bonus too because I hear in the other comments that the gold flakes off moderately. Still a cool gift!

Birthday gift for dad.

My sons literally just gave these to their dad last night for his birthday and he loved them. My husband thinks they are such a cool conversation piece and he can't wait to show his buddies. I would recommend this item. It is unique, comes in a cool box that is wrapped in protection and boxed up for shipment. The cards are 24k gold foil and they are so shiny and cool. We loved them and they are a great price for the dads and hubbies out there.

Cool novelty gift

Cool novelty gift. The gift box is nice, however the box inside that the deck of cards come in was falling apart due to a lack of adhesive. Also, the design and color scheme of the cards isn't really complimented by the gold foil. Just looks like a deck of Bicycle cards in gold. It wasn't for me and the person I got it for liked it, so that's enough for 3 stars.

Everybody that sees these cards wants them. We haven't used them extensively yet and honestly they are VERY slippery with the first few uses (should get better over time), but people love them... a lot.

I ordered two of these over the holidays. I saw them on a Groupon deal, which turned out not to be such a great deal as they were available on Amazon Prime at the same price, with free shipping, and easy Amazon returns. One was a secret santa for a gift exchange for my poker group, and one was for my 13 yo son. They were both very well recieved, and I was extremely please. Also, both were exactly as advertised.
