Only (cheapest) way to get some quality Simpsons Minifigs

I was both excited and saddened to hear that the Simpsons were finally going to be coming to the Lego universe.

Excited because now I can have TV's longest running animated family as lego minifigs

Saddened because the Only way to get the figures is from these Minifig singles or the 200 dollar Simpsons house.

Since there are no smaller playsets this is the cheapest option of collecting simpsons minifigs.

There are 16 characters in blindbags:

Homer Simpson with a donut and a TV remote control.

Bart Simpson with a skateboard

Marge Simpson with a Purse and and a "Donut Fancy" Magazine

Lisa Simpson with her saxophone

Maggie Simpson with her bear, Bobo

Grampa with a Newspaper about himself

Ned Flanders with a white "I ♥ South Paws" mug and a toolbox

Krusty the Clown with a pie tray with yellow cream.

Milhouse with a "Biclops" Comic

Ralph Wiggum with a card that says "I choo choo choose you"

I was lucky enough to purchase 10 of these bags and only get two duplicates (homer and marge)

Bought these as a novelty gift to throw in my boyfriend's christmas stocking, he's a long time Simpsons lover! He got such a kick out of these, and displays them on his desk! I bought 5 packages and did get two of the same (so only four different characters), but that's part of the game with these mystery minifigures and we simply passed the duplicate on to our nephew.

The actual Lego piece I guess is fine but it didn't come in it's original packaging as shown but a small clear, battered ziploc bag. I wouldn't care that much but I'm giving it as a gift and it looks weird in this cheap baggie.

Great mini figs! Easy to assemble. Each mini fig only cost $3-$4 - so don't pay more. Also they're random- there is no way of knowing who you will end up with. I love that each character comes with it's own special item- such a cute touch!!

Oh man, these are so cool! To be honest, I only bought a few as "surprises" and then we went into the LEGO store and the manager helped us out, he felt through the bags and got us pretty much the entire collection!

Love when Lego comes out with things that are cool for the parents AND the kids. Used these in birthday take home bags and all the kids were excited and loved it. Added some gum and candy - easy and relatively cheap.

I was out shopping this week-end at the local big-box store (you know the one), and ran across a box of these Simpsons series minifigures and bought five of them. I was lucky enough to have only one duplicate figure. The figures I got were, Homer, Marge, Lisa, and Itchy (which was the duplicated figure).

I like the overall design of the minifigures - but the heads are a bit odd looking. They are also made of some rubberized plastic which for some pieces has a really strong (and unpleasant) smell. The two Itchy heads being the worst on that count.

Still, I went ahead and ordered a few more figures here at Amazon - hoping to get maybe Mr. Burns. I'm surprised that his assistant Smithers isn't one of the minifigures in the collection - but I guess there can only be 16.

I imagine this is going to be a popular series to collect.

ETA: Got in the figures I ordered here at Amazon. They were two duplicates - but at least they were the Scratchy figure. So now I have an extra set of the Itchy & Scratch's that I can trade with someone.

It is a single character minifigure of a random character from The SImpsons. There's no way of knowing which character it is by reading the package. If there were at least two characters in the package, I'd give it 5 stars. Worth the price for any true LEGO and The Simpsons fan for your collection. They make nice gifts.

Great for both Simpsons fan's and LEGO fan's haha I got Mr Bern's and Maggie Simpson. Would have given this five star's if this was just a little cheaper.
