Buy at your own risk, flimsy, cheaply made.

I'm a huge Marvel fan and while not much into purchasing merchandising, a friend sent me a picture of what I assumed was this umbrella in a store, the day after we saw the current Avengers movie. The store was closed and he couldn't see the price so I went, as usual, to Amazon and found this one. I have been an Amazon client for many years but I'm not into the habit of writing reviews, good or bad. I'm making an exception to warn potential buyers of this product. It arrived today one day ahead of time (compliment on delivery) May 5th and coincidentally, there was a light drizzle here in Miami Beach when I went outside. The handle seems sturdy enough and the retro look of the characters was very nice. As soon as I opened the umbrella and held it (inside my apartment,) it shook easily from side to side, it is flimsy and cheaply made. It reminded me of those $5 umbrellas I used to buy in the streets of N.Y. during an unexpected rain. If you want to spend or throw away $30 for a child or gift to a Marvel fan, of any age, IMO it's going to be a collector item to be displayed inside the home, unless of course, you're superstitious. This umbrella won't last much during regular rain or wind conditions, especially in South Florida LOL.

I love this umbrella but it isn't so sturdy. My 11 yr old broke it the first day, and i feel like mine's gonna blow inside out myself when i use it. it looks so cool though. ...
