The water dish was packaged very well, and it looks great! No chips in the ceramic, no smudges in the paint. Very fun. I used it to serve blue punch at a retirement party for a lady who had worked at a pet spa. Everyone got a real kick out of it!

I ordered this despite the bad reviews because I just couldn't resist. It is so adorable seeing my standard-size dachshund drink from it. My friend laughed hysterically at the cuteness he was witnessing before his eyes. I can see why some people would be upset at the small size of this water dish. It is definitely for small to medium dogs. There were countless reviews that talked about leakage. This NEVER happened to me and I've already had it for about a month. The trick is to drill a small hole on the bottle cap to regulate how much liquid is coming out as your dog drinks from it. It is also much easier to refill it and place it without creating a huge mess. I love that it is actually quite heavy, so my dog won't knock it over. I am so glad I bought this, as it is very practical as well. I used to have to refill my dog's water bowl daily but now it's about once a week. Love it!

What most complainers about this are saying is that it leaks. The fact is that the bottle must be inserted into the hole below the toilet tank with the top on the bottle. Of course, you must first drill/grind/make a hole in the cap for the water to exit upon demand. After that is done there is no possibility of leaking. Simple as that, and it really makes it nice for a few days of worry free water supply for 3 small pets. My wife made a little cover for the bottle and it looks quite nice.

Way too small to supply water all day and the 2liter bottle just keeps flowing so the bowl overflows til the water runs out. Not a product I would recommend

bottle cannot get a good seal so water leaks out of the top, making this worthless. I got this for my parents for their husky who likes to drink from the toilet all the time. since it doesn't work as a water bowl they put it in the bathroom with some plants in it as a decoration

This turned out to be everything I had hoped it would be. Yes, it is small. Yes, the amount of water in the bowel at times is very little. No, it did not over flow when I first started it but I had a similar unit in plastic and had some practice in "flipping" the bottle into it. All in all I am very happy with it. It doesn't over flow for me. I like it because it is easy to clean not like the plastic one I used to have. My cat will now drink out of it more since the water is cooler. >^,,^<

Love it! The growler looks a lot better than the soda bottle. No issues with leaks. I filled the "bowl" portion then slowly poured and placed the growler into the "tank."

Got it for a Boston Terrier who immediately started drinking from it. She looks so cute! Came extremely well packaged and contrary to what I had read, has NO leaks. Knowing that a plastic bottle would collapse, I used a GROWLER glass jug. A Growler is the jug they fill right from the tap at beer breweries so you can take the beer home with you. Had to trade out the metal cap for a plastic one and drilled a small hole through it. It is easy to attach the full jug (of water) to the toilet with no spills. Rated it one less star because I had to find a bottle to fit it. I just ordered another one for my Chihuahua!

A very cute, novel idea but it leaks

I love the idea of this. It's very cute and fun and the animals loved it however it's not sealed properly between the "cistern" and the base so it pretty much just leaked all over the floor. As these are two separate parts which have been put together, this is a design flaw rather than a one off problem. I am, however, going to seal it with silicon and try again because I do love it.
