Actually had to buy this for a friend after breaking his.. He had this exact one in his car and he loved it and told me I could plug my phone in to play music. When we arrived to a store and got out, I forgot to unplug and got out with my phone. The cord INSTANTLY snapped off irepairably at the box in the middle. $20 out of pocket for a small tug. That box is definitely a weak spot so I'd say the cord does not do well in any kind of rugged conditions. It belongs on a desk or a shelf or somewhere where it won't be pulled on.

doesnt sync/flash/glow to the correct beat of music, seems like there was a mic on the charging hub to listen to the beat but with vloume muted still flashes so i suppose its internally read but still fails especially noticeable when beats gets fast along with multiple instruments.

also one of the tips i can barely twist and will turn on and off but audio continues...

Does NOT light up to the beat [as indicated] which is pretty much the only reason one would but this. .

It just flashes non-stop at whatever pattern it feels like. .

Has NOTHING to do with the dying that is on. .

I purchased it in pink and love the light up color. It does need to be charged once in a while to replenish the led lights in the cord, so be aware of that.

Bought one of these. Didn't work so sent it back. Received a replacement. Also broken. Cheap junk, don't buy. Was really hoping this would work, too, because it's a cool idea.

This aux cord is great, the only reason I gave it a 4 star is because it doesn't light up with the music. It just kind of randomly flashes but it is still a great cord.
