I own a couple of inflatable Hobie kayaks. They are equipped with the marine standard Halley-Roberts valves. Most inexpensive inflator pumps only come with adapters for inflatable beds and sports equipment. I attached this adapter to my cheap air pump, and of course, it works perfectly.

Specifically purchased to use for inflating our Intex kayak that requires a Halkey-Roberts Air Value Adaper as we wanted an electric inflator rather than the provided pump. It did not fit properly into the valve as advertised. The item was $1.99 + shipping and I did not carefully read that the product was shipped directly from China so took quite a while to receive. Didn't bother to return - wasn't worth the effort, but suggested buyers purchase one that can be easily returned in the States. Waste of $7 bucks - ah well!

I got this adapter in order to use a regular electrical mattress inflator on my paddleboard. The adapter works great and I would buy again...I will say that the inflator for a mattress doesn't quite cut the mustard for a 15psi paddleboard...

The 10-year-old plastic HR adapter that came with my Walker Bay inflatable boat broke as I was filling it with air recently. I looked at all of the possible replacements. For me, this one was the best because I could glue the new HR fitting onto part of the old HR fitting, making a strong, air-tight seal and not have to try to attach a new HR fitting on the original (still good, but flimsy) hose.

We purchased an airtrack and didnt know it needed a special pump so we figured we would use the one we have a basic intex raft inflater! This valve made it so we could use our pump with the air track!

No second washer, Need pliers to mount

A second washer was suppose to be part of the kit to help with fitment. Existing washer requires the use of pliers to mount on the valve. There is no internal diaphragm to keep air from escaping which makes it barely usable.
