The good - ornament was larger than I expected and quite heavy, so it seems like it is built to last a while. Sound quality is also quite good and easily fills the room with music. It was very easy to pair and start playing right out of the box.

The bad - my only complaint/disappointment is that it wasn't oackaged very well for shipping (in two plastic containers with no filler) and because of that, it's badly scraped and scuffed all over. It looks used and badly beat up. I'm glad I purchased this for my family and not as a gift, because I wouldn't have wanted to gift it in this condition. Attached are a few pictures but the scuffs are hard to highlight in the photos.

I bought 4 of these to give as stocking stuffer gifts. I'm glad I tried one out before giving any away. Super sketchy sounding connection through a phone-- then tried with a computer with similar results. The sound cuts out at the beginning of each track, and sounds bad. I easily got it to charge, and connect, and play/work, but I don't believe a tech challenged gift recipient would appreciate the hassle of trying to figure out how to fix the "shorting out" speaker sound. I know it's an inexpensive device, so I was expecting maybe lower volume and/or quality speaker, but I wasn't expecting the wire shorting sounding issues. Volume is not low, it's just fine. It only shorts at track changes and w/in the first bars, then plays fine which I can deal with, but not to give as a gift. I'm returning 2 of the unopened ornaments, one recipient is a secret Santa /super tech savvy co-worker, so I can explain the glitch to him, and I know he will still think it's cute, and I'll keep the other one. After I hung it across the room and walked away and let an album play out--I had fewer signal loss issues. Once it's going it's terrific, but it's a bit jarring if/when it shorts out. Overall, I think it's a very cute idea and the price is right. I got each 2 pack for 19.98.

I received this as a gift and have only just tried it out for sound quality. Of course it's Very Lightweight, but the sound is good enough for what it is. It's a great idea for music coming from the Christmas tree. Don't think the quality is commensurate with the price listed though.

cute, synchs up fairly quickly with your device, but the sound quality isn't very clear and crisp. I didn't expect it to be loud, but a little louder would be better.
