However, surfaces like brushed stainless steel and some plastic shower surrounds, are actually slightly porous. On these slightly porous surfaces, the suction only lasts for a few hours to a day. Plenty long enough to have your drink in the shower, but it will not stay for days like truly non-porous surfaces. This is true for all suction cups, even though ours is the highest quality. ***Update***

So it's been two years, and my suction cup has fallen one time, that's it. And that was after I had messed with it and moved it around. You do need a little moisture behind your suction cup to help it stick, so wet it with some water first. Great to enjoy an ice cold beer after a long days work!

So far, so good. No issues whatsoever with suction. I'd say most reviews here either need to clean their shower, or spit on the suction cup some. Definitely makes a shower beer (or La Croix) more enjoyable without fear of it falling or getting soapy. I have this stuck to my plain jane plastic tub/shower up high. After sticking it on there, I applied a good bit of pressure (far more than any beer would weigh) and it didn't budge. I wouldn't hang a swing on it, but it'll hold any size full beer that will fit, no problem. I like how this can hold multiple different vessels (stemmed wine glass or beer, etc). This works well to hang my loofa on to dry out after I'm done showering!

My main reason for choosing this one over the other popular option was that with the other "coozie" version, the velcro was a deterrent for me. Something about velcro and water doesn't seem to bode well.

One last thing, if you love shower beers, try a shower-orange in the morning! It's super refreshing and really wakes you up. Sounds weird, but trust me, and search the hashtag on insta. You're welcome.

What do you think the worst attribute would be of a product that is supposed ...

Pop quiz. What do you think the worst attribute would be of a product that is supposed to hold your wine glass in the tub? Wow you got it, not holding your freaking wine glass. It will hold it after all your wine spills into the tub, but not with wine in it. I guess if you're looking for an empty glass holder this one is certainly for you. However, If you want to hold wine in your wine glass holder, you're out of luck friend.

My Drape Holder!

I'm sooo McGyver! 🤗 I needed something to hold the drapes back to let light in with my guest room without sliding the drapes over. This little gadget does the trick perfectly. I will say that these suction REALLY well. My drapes are very heavy & the suction hasn't in-sucked since I stuck it on the window. Fast-forward to today, one week later, still suctioned holding up HEAVY panel. It'll have no problem holding a glass of wine! 🍷 Enioy!!

My husband came home one day from a long day at work and I heard him pop open a can of beer in the shower. When I asked him about it, he explained the 'shower beer.' Upon some research and a little help from his best friend, I found this amazing product on Amazon. Upon giving him the sipcaddy (just because), he exclaimed that I was the wife of the year/century/eon. I'd pay $13.95 one hundred times over to see his happy face and receive such positive words of affirmation. Plus, I can enjoy a shower beer/wine/sparkling water too! Perfect for Airstreams, RVs and Boats!

We absolutely love this product. We have an Airstream and had been looking for wine and beverage holders that would work with the stainless interior walls. After looking at many competitors, we decided to give SipCaddy a try because it wasn't permanent and we were worried about leaving any marks to the interior. I have to say that they work perfectly and have lived up to their description. The suction cup mount has a firm hold and we haven't had any spills or accidents. We also have used them in our little boat and again they have worked like a charm. A+++

My wife got this for me because of how much I like to drink a beer in the shower after work. It worked great the first time I used it but that same night it fell from the shower in the middle of the night and gave us both a good scare. From that point on I would only put it up whenever I was going to use it and take it down when I got out of the shower. At that point I would have given it 4 stars. However about a week ago I put it up again but got the suction cup wet before attaching it to the shower wall and it has been up without issue ever since. Love the product.

Great product with multiple uses

I need to open this review by saying that I do not use this product for the purpose for which it was intended. I use it in my bathtub to hold soap and shampoo bottles upside down when I'm trying to get the last of it out of the bottle. It works like a charm! And if it'll hold a 32 oz bottle of WEN, it'll definitely be strong enough to hold your glass of wine or can of beer!

I read all the reviews on this item and decided to give them a try myself as the reviews were somewhat mixed. I will have to go with all of the reviewers that stated that the suction is questionable at best. Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. I had good luck the first 2 or 3 times and got confident and decided to drink my champagne in my garden tub in my good crystal champagne glass...... The glass is broken now but re-ordered... since then I don't trust the caddy and went back to my cheap glassware or plastic flutes and am not upset or surprised when it falls off despite my ensuring that everything is prepped and ready for success. I would say if you really need or want it, get it but beware. If you are on the fence and like the idea, don't buy it, it's a waste of money.

Didn't stick to shower

This would not stick to my shower walls which are tile. I tried multiple spots and actually spent s lot of time trying to get it to stick. It would stick for a minute then fall off (when it was empty). YMMV.
