BEWARE!!! PIECE OF JUNK!!! I was so excited to get my new Co-Link Flexible Clamp Mount for my GoPro Hero 4 Silver to use on an upcoming ATV Jungle Excursion in Cozumel. When I received the Co-Link Clamp, I slid the flexible neck clip into the clamp attachment to assemble it as supposed to and the flimsy plastic clip broke on the flexible neck end rendering the whole device useless! Didn't even get to attach my GoPro to it before it broke, much less make it to my destination and the ATV!!! A few days later, I got an email from Co-Link asking me to tell them if there's any problems with the Clamp and if I would write a review for it. I just responded by telling them what I wrote here and am waiting to see if they will replace it and make things right or if I will have to go buy the GoPro Clamp after all before my trip. Right now I would say don't waste your money on this. If they treat me right and replace it I will write a new review for their customer service. If they don't respond favorably in a few days... To be continued!!!

Wish I would have bought this earlier. This is by far the most versatile GoPro mount that I own. The biggest and best part about this clamp mount is how fast it is to set up. Literally just clamp it on and pull the strap tight if needed, that's it! I've heard some people complain about the bendy extension and how it feels cheap because it squeaks a lot when you adjust it. The reason it squeaks is because it's very tight and difficult to move. That's exactly what you want it to do because if it was flopping around and moving with every movement it would be worthless. I would recommend using the regular elbow mounts with the clap though just because you can really crank those things down tight and you can't adjust the tension of the bendy extension at all. Also people complain that the clamp is hard to squeeze and it is definitely has a strong spring, but I'd prefer it to be nice and strong than it fall off or move when it gets bumped. This is not exactly like the GoPro version. The GoPro version has a few more rubberized parts like on the handle and jaws.

Overall if I started over with a GoPro, this would be the first mount I get.

not a bad mount. havent had issues of it being hard to form like in other reviews ive read (stop being pansies). First use i attached the flexible part to a chesty mount and strapped it to my golden retriever, didnt work so well, he started running and it flopped over, next time will just mount camera to chesty. 2nd use was in my car, used with clamp (which has good clamping force) others have complained about it being to hard to open, again stop being pansies and start doing some finger curls! Anyway clamped it to my jesus strap for a nice angle and stayed pretty well for trial run. 3rd us attached flexible part to suction cup and place outside car on the rear quarter panel, did some drifting around and it flopped alittle from the violent driving, but not suprised. All in all I would recommend this mount especially due to its versatility.many ways to use it.

Swing and a miss...

So, I don't normally write reviews, but I felt compelled to do so on this product. I purchased this for a trip I took in April and used it 3 times on that trip. Came home and put it in a box with other items for my action camera. The box sat motionless and undisturbed until I retrieved this today. Upon clicking the flexible arm into the connection on the clamp jaws, the clip broke. This is the small clip at the base of the flexible arm where that arm meets the clamp. At the moment, the clip still holds the arm to the jaws, but given how easily the other side of the clip broke, I suspect it won't be long until the other side of it breaks as well. The plastic seems to be less durable than a well-made original. I would say buy the original not the knock off and enjoy the utility of the flexible arm. This unit will just break on you...

Just used this for the first time yesterday as I had planned to, and immediately both push clips broke where it mounts to the vise! And a day after it is able to be returned. Oh joy - At least provide an extra clip to replace what seems to break quite often according other reviews. Be very wary about adjusting it once you have this clipped onto something. The flex part works awesome, but a waste of money since I can't use it anymore.. ugh...

I checked prices on most brands of clamps, I have had my hand on the GoPro brand and its made good quality and the clamp was very strong. that said The GoPro price is very strong too! I chose to save some money and purchase this brand and i'm glad I did. The quality is great and the clamp is just as strong as the GoPro brand. Im in a wheelchair and the clamp opens big enough to clamp around any part of the frame I need.

Worked well being clamped to the headrest of passenger seat of car to use GoPro as dash cam.

My only issue is that it makes a lot of noise if it is moved and the GoPro picks up that noise over everything else.

Well after a two week trip in the smokies of heavy use, the bottom clip did break. Still usable -- somehow did not affect its ability to attach the neck to the clamp. But hey, for $16, I would say that this is a great deal. Better than buying the $60 gopro brand gooseneck...

Bottom line, clamp works great, gooseneck works fine.

The clap seems to be very strong and shouldn't have any issues of it coming undone. I have used this product several times and the clap is very strong. There are endless uses for this product and your creativity is your only limitation.

Broke after 2nd use, when trying to clip on the neck to the clamp the clip on the neck broke.

The clamp is great and holds on to things well, but the plastic clip was too brittle and broke after the 2nd attempt of clipping it on and off the clamp.

Would not recommend.
