Better electrical protection
by Garry W. Spencer (4 out of 5 stars)

An excellent product that is required in new homes in many localities. It does more to protect people from the dangers of electricity than just drawing too much current. It gards against bad grounds and poor insolation. These breakers are larger and cannot be used with the old circuit breaker boxes. They are also much more expensive that the old single purpose circuit breakers. Unfortunately this makes upgrading an old house very expensive. I primarily wanted to upgrade the bathroom, so I returned the circuit breaker and went with a new bathroom outlet.

Best price I've found

This is the same breaker that you will find at Lowe's for almost $50, but I only paid $32. This breaker satisfies the new code for ground fault and arc fault protection. Make sure you check the breaker before install, as I received one marked as a combo breaker, but the item inside was only GFCI. Return was and refund were quick and painless.

Great breaker!

Great breaker, needed it quick for a bathroom rewire and Amazon had just what I needed. I don't like the whole AFCI movement (especially for situations that shouldn't happen, I mean I don't have a lamp not the lamp cord from said lamp in a bathroom...) but love having the GFCI built into the breaker. No more trying to fool around with fitting two 12/2 or 14/2's in a box with a large GFCI outlet, just use the breaker and eliminate the GFCI outlet

Just what I needed!

A little bulky in the panel but gets the protection needed for the bathroom and has 1 less wire to land because this breaker clips onto the neutral bar.

This is the second breaker I bought and they keep tripping and then finally blow... these breakers are a money pit...

I've installed 8 of these so far (and 2 of the 20A CAFCI only that are wired to 20A Dead front GFCI only for bathroom spa) over the past 8 months as I've been rewiring my house after renovating bathroom and downstairs. The existing wiring was pretty bad (saw spots where wires had arced and were blackened, 1 bx cable going into 2 breakers, lots of hidden junction boxes, romex run between plaster and sheet rock, etc), so I've used more of these than I had originally anticipated. I'd recommend using simple tandem breakers to feed AFCI/GFCI outlets where you are able to reset them and these for lights and other locations where you want the breaker to trip. They're very sensitive, as I've tripped them adding another wire to an overhead housing (pulled out the tab on the wrong lutron caseta switch :) Also, there has been no errant tripping, as I've read about people encountering with other breakers.
