Fun for every age

This is a huge hit. ALL the children and adults love it. It was hung between two trees with a cable. You must order the grips because it is very slippery without them but perfect with the grips. I am goving it four stars only because for safety reasons the swing ahould not be sold without the grips on the bottom.

I have been eyeing the Swurfer for such a long time and finally made the purchase. I have a 6 year old and a 3 year old. My 6 year old loves anything active, trampolines, climbing trees, swimming, bike riding, etc. I knew that the Swurfer would make a good addition to my back yard but I held off to buy it until recently. I wish I never waited. My 6 year old LOVES it. As soon as he gets home he runs to the back yard and Surf/Swings for 30+ minutes. He really flies. The board is constructed so well and I can see it will last years even staying outside all the time. Even my 3 year old loves to get on and swing when his big brother finally lets him. It took just minutes to set up. My tree is about 12 feet up and I think the taller the better. I might get the extra rope kit and try it on another branch nearly 30 feet up. Don't wait on this one, your kids will love it! A+++

Fantastic invention, works for older kids to!

What a great toy! The vendor was very prompt and courteous when I had a small concern. It works better with 4 handles. But it got my 18 year old son outside and playing like a kid with his friends. The stunts they do on the swurfer are amazing. They love it!!!

Cool idea, but very difficult to install properly to get the full effect. If you don't have the perfect branch setup you will be disappointed.

Kids love this thing. We had an arborist do the actual set up to make sure we had a solid branch. This is not a typical swing - the kids can do some over the top maneuvers on it. Bark chips or a soft landing site would be a good idea.

Feeling better about the purchase

Rather disappointed in the construction of the handles. There are cracks in them and hurt to hold. No it's almost as if the manufacturer sealed them before the wood was dry and the wood has now cracked. That was noticed on the day they were opened. (Christmas Day). They will eventually fall completely apart. Because I bought these as a Christmas gift back in September, my window to return is over.

The rope was too short and caused us to have to buy 20 dollars in additional rope.

The construction of the board appears to be very good. My son loves it and has a great time. Just not sure a glorified skateboard is worth the 114 dollars I paid for... I feel like I'm paying for the ideas and not the quality of the product.

Update: the company reached out to us and made things right with the rope and the handles. They were very easy to work with and apologized. New handles are great, my kids love it and have played on it endlessly

Took some time to figure out the best spot for it. Since we didn't have a limb long enough, we installed a board and strung the rope through it so it swings perpendicular to the tree trunk. It is lots of fun, and challenging. A good core and thigh workout.
