It is a very nice product but we were not totally wowed when we opened it. It was a gift for someone in Navy so served its purpose. I would like to see it cost a little less.

Beautiful piece ruined with a cheap spicket

Beautiful piece. However the spicket doesn't seal, it's too loose in the glass. Also the spicket wont pour. The ball bearing inside the spicket just fell out. Found out I cant use it after pouring glenlivet archive 21 in to it. Its a shame.

Update- simple email and company is sending a replacement spigot. Good customer service

This is, simply put, an awesome f***ing decanter. All my friends that have seen it love it and want one within 5 seconds of seeing it. The only negative is that I'm not sure its theme goes well with anything but Rum. But, who cares if a glass ship is floating in a sea of gin? No one, that's who.

Wife got this for me as a present. I really like it. However, she's the spiced rum drinker, I'm the whiskey drinker. So we usually keep the rum in it for the theme.

Anyway, the base is a little light weight for such a nice decanter. I'd like to see it a little better constructed for what I found out the cost of this decanter was. Maybe with some non-slip surfaces for the foot and rest?

There are a few other decanters from Prestige I like. Even with the gripe about the base (minimal) I will still probably purchase another one if I get the opportunity. Or ask for another as a gift.

Love the craftsmanship here in this gift I bought for my brother who loves rum and didn't have a decanter. It can hold just about your average bottle of alcohol and pours good. The stand is nice and size of the decanter makes for traveling with it around and easy possibility, not bulky at all. He loved the gift and said he would recommend it to anyone, it's just not huge if your looking for something that'll blow people away...it is however made extremely well and is a good conversation piece. Would recommend

Leaked my very expensive Bourbon

This decanter makes a great gift and it is beautifully made. However, it leaked a large amount of a very expensive bourbon since it appears that the spigot does not close very well. It works if you fill it below the spigot and tilt it forward to pour a drink.

Very nice hand blowen decanter. There was an air bubble at the bottom that had caused leaking. I called amazon, they were very easy to work with. I had the broke one shipped back and the new one at my house by noon the following day. No issues. Would highly recommed.

Smaller than I expected, the wooden base color is greenish, still nice to have. I will however, have to change the wood color. I would certainly buy another one if they will make them in a bigger sizes, say double the size they have now.

This decanter is small as everyone has said before, however it holds a whole bottle of liquor! And if it were any bigger it would detract from other decanters and bottles that I have. I was able to perfectly place this decanter in a side of my China cabinet directly under a light that illuminates it beautifully. I would buy this again in a heartbeat. It would make for a lovely gift. The packaging was spectacular, a lot of thought put into this. No breaks no cracks, perfect shape. I. Love. It.
