Awesome toaster

Absolutely love this toast. Works great. But please follow the directions, with a new toaster you have to set the temp to high and toast nothing to burn off the chemicals used on the filaments before you use it with food.

Not a four slice toaster; bad smell.

The picture shows this toaster holding four slices of bread. The reality is that, unless you're a tiny baby who eats tiny baby bread, it only holds one and a half slices per slot.

You can turn the slices on their side to fit four, but that will leave the tops sticking out, where the bread won't toast at all.

This is really a two slice, long slot toaster. It can do two, extra long, round load style slices, but not four sandwich loaf slices.

Unrelated, but an additional reason I returned: it has a horrible plastic smell when it heats up that fills the whole room.

Toasts great, but gives flight to finished toast!

I really want to give this 3 and a half stars, but it really does toast well and I like the ability to toast 2 wide pieces of bread at the same time or 4 regular slices. But I find it really annoying that the toaster flings the finished toast out of the toaster and onto the counter. So far, none has landed on the floor, but this has happened almost every time I use the thing. I haven't yet tried to toast bagels or frozen waffles. I suspect bagels will be heavy enough to stay in the toaster. I also wish you could only use one side, seems wasteful to heat both slots if you are only using one. But then that would probably add $$ to the cost of the toaster. And, at $30, this is not a cheap toaster. It is pretty though, looks nice on the counter.

NASA wants my toaster. It truly propels the toast out of the toaster and onto the counter or floor. I though I was on Candid Camera or in a Three-Stooges movie! In addition, at the lowest setting, the bread comes out burned like a piece of charcoal. I am asking for a refund - not an exchange. A BAD-BAD-BAD product.

Hooray! I love it. Tried it as soon as it arrived. I like the slim profile for my limited space area for a toaster. My old one was just too in the way. Also, we love the big sourdough and specialty loaves of bread, this toaster handles the big slices. Nice Product, fast delivery. Thanks

I get Burnt toast everytime

Even on the LOWEST setting I get burnt toast. What a huge disappointment not to mention the hassle and cost of returning it. This is the second review with this problem. What happened to making quality products.

Consistent quality toasting

I have been very satisfied with this toaster. It toasts consistently and evenly. It handles oversized bread, so I don't have to cut bread in half or first toast one end and then the other. And the price is great. I looked at some other VERY expensive toasters and still saw bad reviews. So I decided to go with this one and it was a great choice.

I wanted a small toaster and I thought this one would be it. NOT! I thought because it was long that it would be narrow and fit in a narrow spot where I needed it but it did not. I found another toaster that fit the bill in a well known department store and fell in love with IT. I will have to find a new home for this one. I do not feel the toaster toasts evenly and a couple of times it launched the toast into the air. I would not recommend it. Not totally bad but...not for me.

Did not cook evenly. Burnt toast in spots and did not cook in other spot. Adjusted temp and did the flip over during etc. Nope still sucks. Dissapointing since I live the look and size of the toaster.

At first thought this would be a space saving solution.

This product tends to spring toast and waffles harshly out. I find this unsafe and unhygienic.

This toaster lacks depth, for example a Pop-tart must be placed on its side to be warmed.

Even the lowest dial setting is very strong.

These three flaws have rendered my product useless. Placed two pop-tarts into the device, lowest setting. It ejects the food, releases the tension bars and each pop-tart slips back into the device's crevices and begins to burn. The food is unreachable. Unplug the device to shake it over the sink but most of each pop-tart is now trapped within the device.
