NON-RETURNABLE !?!?!
by MJG (2 out of 5 stars)

These were a major disappointment! My husband has a 2013 Toyota Tundra. Okay, the side view mirrors do have a "defrost" feature, but I thought it would save a bunch of time to have these on in the first place. BEWARE: They in NO WAY begin to fit over the mirrors. They would have had to be at least half again as much bigger to fit over the mirrors.

So ... I call Amazon to return them ... and they are deemed UNRETURNABLE! I did finally get my money refunded, but that's just ridiculous.

They really should come with a warning about what side mirrors they fit. I'm sure it's a great product otherwise. I wouldn't know.

Works Like a Charm

No fuss no muss! I just moved to Minnesota from Los Angeles and I learned very quickly about the early morning hell which is scraping ice/snow off the car. I have a Hyundai Elantra and these fit no problem. These mittz totally eliminate frost/ice/fog buildup on my side mirrors and that's one less thing I have to worry about in my daily procrastination struggle of getting up and on my way to work. They seem to be well constructed with no tears or loose stitching. They're only slightly difficult to get on the side mirrors if I have gloves on, but that might be because I'm not well adapt to the whole having to wear clothes that defend me from the frozen tundra thing. I'm also very amused by putting mittens on my car, so 10+ points for entertaining the easily amused.

Indispensible

Grateful for these mirror mittz daily! They look good, they go on and off easy, though a bit awkward getting the tie through the door frame to lock them in if the wind blows. They stay on really well and look cool! The bright blue snowflake and lettering helps you remember they are on the mirror before you drive off. We have tried other mirror covers and they weren't as great quality, ease of use putting them on and taking them off, and usually didn't have the ties as anchors for vicious winds we sometimes get in our Alaska winters.

Works great! Fits no problem for smaller car like Ford ...

Works great! Fits no problem for smaller car like Ford Focus, but was a tight fit on my '11 Ford Escape mirrors. Perfect answer for those who don't have heated mirrors.

but they work great and are easy to take on and off

I admit I was skeptical, but they work great and are easy to take on and off. It takes a little extra time to put them on and take them off, but it is a lot easier and better then dealing with the ice on the mirrors. Would recommend them to others. I have not had mine that long and am unsure how they will hold up to continuous weather exposure but for the price if they last one winter it is worth it and I would buy again.

They work great, a breeze to put on and take off.

I have a 2014 Chevy Cruze, the mitts just fit the mirrors. They work great, a breeze to put on and take off. They utilize a push lock like a child's shoelace tie. The material is thin and is easy to store. Now if I can only figure out how to keep the salt off until I put these on....

Just a follow-up. I have been using these for about a year now and have had only one minor issue with these. Aside from that, this is a great product. The minor issue is if you put them away wet, say after a melting snow and then later put them back on still wet, they will freeze in place. They will still come off though. I have this issue only because I work nights so when I get home and it is above freezing I do not put them on, and in the evening when it freezes after going back to work, I put them back on.

still rate them at five stars though.

Mittz That Work, But Don't Fit Well
by RAH2012 (4 out of 5 stars)

PROS: Easy storage; Easy installation; Easy removal (snow?); Works. CONS: Wet/Damp storage; Size. I purchased this product in addition to a windshield cover for those frosty and snowy mornings (not yet snow tested). It fits my 2005 Dodge Dakota, but does not cover the mirrors "entirely" as I expected. The drawstrings are a tad short, but I was able to fit the ends inside the vehicle by rolling down the window and pulling through (otherwise the plastic end is between the body and door frame. I can say they work well for frost protection, but snow protection is to-be-determined (still waiting for snow). If it's a blowing storm, I can see some snow getting behind the cover. Keep a plastic bag for in-vehicle storage, especially if their is sleet/freezing rain in the forecast.

Easy on, easy off, clean mirrors!
by Joey's Lil Girl (5 out of 5 stars)

These are so easy to use, quick to pull on, and they definitely make it easy to keep your outside mirrors clear of snow and ice. I've never had any problems with them sticking to the mirror even on sloppy-wet snow days. I was afraid they would be inconvenient to use and I'd forget to keep them handy, but they go into the pocket on the back of the driver seat, and they're right there when I need them, whether it's at home or out running around. And they slide on so easy, there's no problem at all with putting them on. Not too loose, not too snug, easy to get on and off. Definitely worth the money!

They do the job
by Zilla (5 out of 5 stars)

I was looking for something to hopefully keep ice off my side mirrors, as they are hard to adequately clean. I tried these at just the right time because we have been hit with repeated bouts of freezing rain. These have a pull string closure with a plastic piece that locks them however tight you desire. Slip the remaining string into your side window & close it so the wind can't send them flying. They've worked very well for me & they couldn't be easier to apply.

Easy, secure, and they work.

As a recently imported NW individual, I needed something to keep my side mirrors from freezing over. I didn't want to chance chipping the mirrors with a scraper. These mirror covers are just the ticket. They are easy to put on (Toyota Corolla) and by looping the string in the door, I feel secure that no one will steal them when I park in town. A good adjunct for a windshield cover.
