People should really be honest with themselves and really think of what do they expect when buying a $45 toaster!

It's a toaster for crying out loud! made in CHINA! Is not a laser o plasma cutter, it's a good old fashioned toaster, with a Darth Vader helmet thingy on the outside.

Of course it's not great, of course it doesn't toast the word STAR WARS perfectly. But for a Star Wars fan is AWESOME! Not only the helmet-looking aspect but the fact that burns the word STAR WARS in your freaking toast!

So, totally worth it to buy it, to keep it or give as a gift!

A true Star Wars fan would really appreciate it.

Love this toaster. I originally wanted the Death Star toaster but the one I had received (different seller) was broken. The price of it as well jumped so I had to go a different route.

I thought what better toaster than Darth Vader? I received it and noticed how good it was packaged. Nothing other than a boulder galling on it, would have damaged the toaster. So kudos for whomever packed the box.

The toaster works as advertised. To get the lettering to show up clearer you need to turn up the toasting time. I don't use fancy artisinal bread so the regular white and rye breads I typically eat, fit nicely in the toaster. Some rye pieces were a little long but a small trim had them fitting in the toaster. If you eat fancy, buy a different type of toaster.

I found that I need to turn the toaster timer up nearly all the way. I like my toast browned so I found a good compromise with a longer time. It is a novelty toaster after all. Also who doesn't like their toast a little on the dark side?

I bought this in July for my stepfathers birthday in September. I was super excited for him to use it. It worked great for the first couple of slices, but stopped working after that. I feel just awful because I am no longer able to return it or exchange it for him. Now he just has a pos Star Wars head sitting on the counter. I suppose I could've tested it when I got it, I didn't want to give him a used toaster, how crappy would that be!?!? I also could have waited to buy it, but didn't want it to be sold out by the time his birthday rolled around. My heart is broken over a stupid toaster.....

This is the greatest thing since my Millennium Falcon with action figures! I love it, my girlfriend loves it, my kids love it! You can complain about the price and yes the quality is fair, and you have to almost go completely to the "dark side" to get it to burn the Star Wars logo... But the cool factor alone is worth it! And I'm using it almost every day and so far so good.

I find your lack of toast disturbing...!!

Ordered this for our Star Wars obsessed daughter when she asked for a toaster for Xmas. The look on her face was priceless! I got fussed at a little for not having "normal bread" but it worked and stamped the logo onto my "fancy stuff" quite well. Real conversation piece on her counter.

Ok, so we do like the design a lot. The whole concept is amazing and Darth Vader's head looks cool in our kitchen. BUT the quality of a toaster is not perfect. Bread always gets stuck. I personally like the aesthetic of digging something inside of Darth Vader's brains but others are annoyed. And "Star Wars" note is not visible and sharp - just some blurry thing that reminds of those words if you know, they should be there. So meh... But I'll keep it for the looks! ;)

Looks great, but doesn't toast the emblem well. It toasts, but not the graphic. I rate a 10 on cool looks of appliance. 3 on performance.
