Not protector but discoloring seat

If I could give this 0 stars I would. I have used this seat protector on my brand new 2016 Camry with light grey leather seats for about three months, noticed today that dye in the cover has discolored/transferred to my seat. Byer beware if you have leather seats.

I just bought my first new Vehicle...a 2016 Toyota Tacoma truck. I then wanted to protect the interior as I do lots of work outside that gets me pretty dirty. I bought a couple of seat covers but none of them fit well and they covered the seat-belt attachment on the side of the seat. They also prevented the side seat airbag release. Toyota wanted $380 for a set of seat covers. Too high for me. Then I found these on Amazon and read the reviews. I saw that the worst reviews related to a "smell" but I did not find them all that offensive but I laid them out for a couple of days anyway before putting them in the truck.

My fear was that because I am tall, I have little room between my legs and the steering wheel, and when getting in and out my legs drag a bit across the seat covers and on the first two purchases it was enough to pull the seat covers off of the seat which was a constant inconvenience. I would have to get out and re-pull the cover back over the seat. Well this product, the Infina, clings well enough that they remain firmly where I initially placed them.

At first I ordered one to see how it would work out. Well, I just ordered the second one. That sums it up. I love this seat cover. And to know that it is also waterproof and is washable are all icing on the cake.

So I highly recommend these. Also the owner of this company seems to take a personal interest in my being satisfied, or not. That too is a rarity in this day and age where one can often find no one to contact if there is a problem.

Be careful with tan leather!!!

So I bought a new truck with tan leather seats, I knew this light color could be an issue so I needed to protect it.

I didn't want or need to have the protection all the time so I went with these, they were easy to install, and gave the protection I needed.

I didnt notice until while on vacation in the south where the sun was out and brighter than at home in the north that my seats were stained from these covers.

The driver side is really bad, the passenger has a few spots but are there none the less.

These seats that I needed to protect from getting damaged are now ruined, all because of the items I bought specifically to protect them!

I'm beyond disappointed, this is a fairly expensive truck and the value has been knocked down in a huge way... just the opposite of what I was trying to do.

Hopefully the manufacturer will stand behind their product ...we will see.

Great product. Stays in place and provides excellent protection. I followed the instructions and aired it out prior to use and there isn't any foul smell like some others have commented. Some others have commented that the straps are too short to use, well that's because they are for storing the seat cover. You use the straps after rolling it up similar to a sleeping bag. I ordered 1 to try out and I am planning on ordering 3 more. My only suggestion is that they should make the headrest pocket slightly larger to fit more cars.

To all the negative review people, here is a hint WASH THEM! We have 2 cars each leather seats, beige and light grey. Between surfing, gym, running, etc. only use the, when needed and have ZERO problems. The negative sayers are like, left them on for 1 or 6 months and looked....really? Don't think it's a perm cover and not intended for that! Got got leather seats why not sit on them 90% of the time.

(On a 2014 Subaru Outback): This is the kind of neoprene that has the normal, fabric-covered side and the more rubbery surface on the other. This is very good as the cover will not slide around and move easily on my leather seats.

It rolls up nicely and gets stored under the driver's seat in seconds and I don't even bother anymore to use the elastic loops included (as they got stretched out quickly -probably from Summer heat in the car). The stitching (as little as there is) is straight and well done. I could do away with the printed graphics in lieu of embroidery (for the price).

I was concerned about how the neoprene would react against my brown leather and was very careful in using it for incrementally longer periods of time, including at high temperatures and always with leather cleaner and conditioner at hand. Although I did not (and will not) leave it on the seat mid-summer, I put it on and used it while the car was very hot under the summer sun with no ill effects. I have no reason to believe it would damage the seats if left on, but why take the chance?!

I was tempted to mention pricing as a negative. Neoprene is not that expensive and this piece involves very limited labor in the way of stitching. However, I feel this will last quite a while, making it worth for me and -understandably- a low repeat revenue stream for the vendor.

The only negative aspect I had to fix involves the "shoulders". While the rest of the cover sits nice and flat against the seat, the shoulders will quickly flop forward under their own weight. Quicker (like 5 minutes) once/if the neoprene is warm. I ended up stitching a strip of nylon strap with velcro to hold the shoulders behind the seat.

I purchased this for a 2016 Subaru WRX. The shipping was very quick, about a week. I have used it for one week. The materials are high quality, very comfortable to sit and move around on, and appear to be very durable. Workmanship is excellent. Although my WRX seats are deep and have large side bolsters, the cover is still wide enough to protect the top seating surfaces (another 1/2 " in width at the hips would be perfect for the WRX). This cover is apron-style and does NOT block air bags in the seat backs and sides of late model cars, VERY important for safety. Super-easy installation and removal. The one-piece over-the-headrest top attachment design keeps the cover from slipping down, a real problem I've had with other covers that fasten beneath the headrest. The cover is "grippy", meaning that it does not move around or bunch up. It stays in place and looks smooth. There are two elastic loops used to keep the cover rolled up when in storage, but I use them to attach the bottom of the cover to underneath the seat, which gives additional stability to the cover. Don't let the price deter you (it almost did me). The quality and satisfaction actually makes this a bargain at $45.00. I am so pleased with this cover that I will be ordering another for my passenger seat.

Great solution for our dog transport car!

We use one of our cars for transporting our 3 dogs. Its a nice car with leather interior, and we didnt want the dogs to get the leather dirty or scratch it. Being a somewhat nicer car (Lincoln MKX) - I was hoping to find a set of seat covers custom made for the car...but they dont exist. So I went with something close - and hated them. They were a canvas material, looked like crap, and were impossible to quickly take off to wash. Then I went to Amazon to see what else there was - and I came across this cover. This one had the best reviews, so I gave it a shot.

WOW! First, it looks amazing! The black is nice and sleek, its not overly baggy or floppy. The shape fits the seats nicely. Second, they stay put. Normally with seat covers they want to shift as you move around, get in, get out, etc. These dont move at all. The rubbery back help keep them in place. Even better, the neoprene material makes is a bit easier to slide in and out. Its not slippery, but I feel I can adjust easier.

We loved the first one so much, we have another one on order. Can't wait to remove the old covers and toss them. Please give these a try - you wont be disappointed.

Bought only one to ensure of quality and performance. I very impressed with this product. I drive a 2008 Lexus GX470 and wanted seat covers that will fit the luxury of this vehicle.

Strengths: High quality material; stays on seat and does not move when entering or exiting vehicle; removable when soil (dirty) to get wash or clean; nice color (light brown/beige); plain and simple they are nice

Weakness: don't like emblem (logo) on the headrest. Over all very satisfied. Opted to get a second one to cover passenger side (front).

I found this car seat cover to be of high quality and very comfortable to sit on, especially in soggy gym clothes. As noted in prior reviews the cover does come in a sealed plastic bag and has a strong rubbery odor when you first take it out. I took it out of the bag and laid it over the railing on my deck for a couple days in the sun and the smell was reduced to nearly zero. The headrest cover holds the overall cover in place (vertically) quite well. My only suggestion for improvement is to add some elastic straps in the lumbar area to keep the cover in place as you move in and out of the car. There are a couple loops on the bottom but I find them of minimal value. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase - my car seat is too!
