There are no detailed instructions for the shock stop. Here's what you need to do: Locate the block at least 15' from the end of the line. Make sure the bungee cord is taut at that point. Otherwise the stop will be very abrupt and your kids will keep flying after the handle stops and tumble into the wilderness. At least that's what happened for me.

We set up a solid 200' run that's fairly steep. The ratcheting strap that you are supposed to hang it with is the low point of the kit. You cannot get it as tight as you will want. I bought a turnbuckle and 9' double eye cable to wrap the tree and tighten it. The ratcheting strap was only used to bring it to the turnbuckle. Put the brake block a little further back than you might think, also plan on connecting it to a tree or a pole that you sink deap in the ground. Sadly the instructions on this are poor to say the least. We had it up in a day, but spent a week tuning it. Don't buy the one with the harness though, it's to hard to get off at the end, unless you have someone there moving a ladder under you.

have to say I wish we would have ordered the same package with the saucer rather than the harness. It's $20 less and more practical. After ordering a separate saucer seat and using my own caribeaner and webbing to attach the saucer, the cost went to $359 plus shipping.

So far I've set it up twice in the backyard and once at a park and it is pretty easy. Not too technical, just take time. And so I set it up, supervise the rides, and if I'm at the park, I take it down. Whew! I need a drink! But the product is everything it supposed to be.

The zip line is fairly simple to install if you have trees to attach it to. The tightening of the cable is a little time consuming due to having to ratchet two different straps. This is the most difficult part of it.

The kids (OK, and me too) really love the zip line. It works exactly as promised and is a great deal of fun. Cut one star because the instructions are very bad (seemingly non-existent for some elements). Not sure why they don't include a clear set of global instructions for the entire process. However, between the instructions included and some online videos we got the job done.
