My dog is a 60 pound German Shepherd. I use this harness with a GoPro Hero. I have used this harness to film with my dog 3 times so far. IMO this harness works well for the price. I payed 19.99$, whereas the GoPro Fetch harness is currently selling for around 50$. As other users have stated every now and then it does tend to slide down one side, but if your dog is running, jumping, swimming, etc this should be expected anyway. I took my dog to river and she ran and jumped in the water multiple times. I only had to readjust maybe twice during the hour long fetch/swim session. The footage was not shaky or anything, it was actually surprisingly smooth. I think four stars is reasonable. In conclusion, this works well for my dog, but of course every dog is different in size and shape so experiences will vary.

I bought this for a friend's pitbull. She's about 60 - 70 lbs and has a big chest but relatively lean body.

She loves wearing it and isn't bothered by the straps. We've so far used it with her in the backyard and watched her play with a gopro 3 in the plastic/waterproof case on the top and chest mounts. While on the chest mount she does make sure to keep the lens clean by licking it constantly but in either case it doesn't get in her way as she plays and holds strong. She's smart enough to not roll over while the go pro is on her back, not sure how it would handle if she did try to roll over.

At the beach the bottom of the top pad doesn't have enough grip to hold on during heavy play but the straps are long enough that they don't come off even if they are loose. The wraps around the straps keep them from coming off even if completely loosened.

Over all a very well made product, even came with a nice thank you card. There's a small pouch for the small gopro mounts but the pouch isn't big enough to fit the entire collar in it.

Haven't tried it on a small dog, another one of my friends has a tiny poodle that is very thin and I doubt this would fit on him well at all. Perfect for medium to large dogs.

Absolutely love this. Took the harness out of the box and put it on my dog without adjusting the straps. Let him run around the yard and the video was hilarious. I did have to straighten out the harness once, but I believe once I fit it correctly, it won't be a problem. Only complaint is the mounts are useless. The center prongs are too wide and will not fit my camera housing. Had several mounts that came with my camera that fit the harness perfectly.

I was so excited to get this harness for my dog. Now that it is summer, we have started to use it on hikes and swims. The harness fit her pretty awkwardly and would slide down. We had to put knots in certain places to keep the harness up. The video footage was very hard to watch because the camera shook around so much. After just a few uses, the snap completely snapped off and now the harness is unusable. Not happy with this harness. I want another harness like this one and I will opt in for a more expensive option hoping for better quality.

Amazing product for the price you pay. I have a one year old German Shepard puppy who weighs roughly 75 pounds. She usually doesn't like harnesses but she is very accepting of this one. The harness fits her well and doesn't fall off to one side or the other even when she is running with the GoPro on her back. The only thing about the harness that I don't like is the way the straps hook onto the plastic mount itself. It's a little difficult to get, but I think designing a harness that uses buckles would make putting it on 100% easier. Other than that, this is a superb product that I would recommend to anyone.

Not great footage on large active dogs.

The mounts themselves are good quality but the elastic straps holding it in place are not nearly sturdy enough for an active dog. I have a 55lb pit/lab mix and I had to tighten the straps up significantly in order to get it to sit sturdy on him and when he runs the rig sways so much that the footage is very difficult to watch. I am going to see if I can remove the mounts and attach them to his regular walking harness in an attempt to get the footage to stabilize.

I think this would work perfectly if you had a much smaller dog, something in the 15-30lb range that maybe wasn't so active.

We bought this for fun to use around the house, while camping, hiking, beach trips, etc. For the price you pay this is an awesome product accessory for a GoPro. The platform is made of plastic and molds to your pets back and the straps are elastic with adjustments to help fit just about any dog size. We have this for our 55lb black lab mix and it fits her great after some fine tuning adjustments.

This product is decent, the only flaw is that it might take your dog a while to get used to it and it doesn't always stay on their back securely, if they try to shake it off it'll go lopsided every time no matter how tight you put it on them. I did watch the go-pro harness videos for an instructional guide and a lot of them showed the dog harness to have a loop hole in the back of the harness where you'd mount your camera so the safety string will hold your camera on the harness if it falls off, but there is no loop in the back for the string to latch onto.

The harness fit OK on my 40 pound beagle/foxhound mix. However he would constantly try to shake it off which resulted in the camera flopping around to the side of his body. It works... but I have to continually adjust the straps to keep it properly seated and comfortable for him. I'm not sure if the designed could be improved or his body is just hard to fit a camera harness to. For the price the materials seemed to be of a high quality, although there are a lot of straps that flap around.

Outstanding Versatility/Adjustability for All Sized Dogs

Good versatility on this mount. As was anticipated, it's hard to keep steady positioning on a dog's back. Particularly since I was using it with them in water, they shake like crazy afterward and It knocks it off balance. It can handle the shake though pretty well actually.. Just minor adjustments afterward. The adjustments are awesome we had this mount fitting a huge 90 lb golden retriever and then also comfortably fitting a 20 lb cavachon.
