These are great! I have had very good luck with these, as well as the regular Biore strips. I'm not sure if the charcoal kind actually pulls anything extra out, but they're a bit more satisfying because you can see everything that was removed really nicely. I've tried a number of different brands, but Biore always yields the most consistent results. A lot of people complain about pore strips not working on them. In my experience, they work best right after a mask (a mud mask or a glycolic acid mask). The mask pulls everything a bit closer to the surface, and the strip yanks it all out before the pores close back up. Also, make sure your nose is very, very wet when you apply the strip. Like dripping. Dab the drips away with a washcloth and apply asap. In addition, make sure the strip is totally dry before pulling it off (should feel very stiff), which may take longer than the time in the instructions.

These are great to relieve congested pores on my nose! I find that to achieve the best results, you have to prep with HOT water on your nose. When the strip becomes stiff, peel it off SLOWLY, peeling from each outer corner in.

Firstly, I'll say my wife and I purchased the Biore Deep Cleansing Charcoal Pore Strips simply because I've always wanted to see how well they work and how much stuff they would pull from my pores.

My wife has used the traditional white strips in the past, and I have not. The strips were easy to use. You simply wash your face, wet your nose, dry your hands, apply the strip, let harden over 10-15 minutes, and remove.

The process was easy and I could feel the strip harden as it dried. Both of our strips were removed with an expected amount of ease, as long as we pulled them off slowly. Neither of us experienced redness or pain as some of the others have posted about.

Overall, we were slightly disappointed with the amount of stuff they pulled from our noses. Our strips only had a little amount (see picture), but not too much (this is probably a good thing, and we purchased them out of couriousity rather than necessity). My wife felt as if the original white strips worked far better. I will say both of our noses feel softer and smoother than ever which was an added plus. I wouldn't purchase again, I would rather try the white strips which are cheaper and potentially work better. I rate these an overall 4/5. Thank you for reading and rating my comment!

Always the best nose strips! I use them every four day. Love it so much! It works on me and I would use some toners and facial mask after this every time . It makes my skin on chin and nose smooth and looks better

wasted money and time

maybe I got a defective box, but these did not work anywhere near as well as the originals. I followed the instructions and when pulling off it has left black spots all over my nose. the only place it is actually pulling from is the very top part of my nose. I know how to correctly use these because I used to use the original, but I'm super disappointed in these. I wasted my money and my time.

I think the white ones worked better than these. I see no improvement over the old ones honestly l, and if anything, I think it pulled out less gunk.

I love admiring the nastiness removed from my face with these! The black makes the aftermath much more visible as opposed to the standard white strips. And I have tried cheaper brands with corresponding (crappy) results. Definitely sticking with these!

Holy pores. I'm too nervous to try a full charcoal face mask so these strips will do the trick for now. They work really well and are cheaper on Amazon than your average drug store. If you are self conscious of your pores I definitely suggest trying these.

I want to love these. Truly. I use them once a week and so does my husband. He has deep black pores and mine are much more subtle. They do not actually remove much honestly. They stick to the nose pretty well so it feels like it should grab it all. However, very little comes out from me and the same for my husband. He has a lot and the fact that these do not remove much is what really makes me rate these low. After we use them it seems like it loosens the gunk and I can remove it manually but it is really bad for us to do it this way. We follow the directions 100% and still have the problem. If you are looking for the deep removal then this won't work.

Buy the white ones

They are nice nose strips for black and white heads. They remove the dirt and impurities as well as peach fuz like the white ones. I find them a little less sticky than the white ones so you must make sure you hold them for a while so they remove the dirt from difficult areas such as the sides of the nose. I always use them in my forehead and chin, for those areas I try to wait more before removing them and avoid sweating so they don't get wet.
