PAC-MAN is recognised world-wide as the most iconic video game of all time. Originating in Japan, the addictive maze game became an arcade smash in the 1980s, and has remained hugely popular ever since. This PAC-MAN Ghost Light is a colour changing mood light with two different modes to choose from. The standard mode will see the light phase through 16 different colours on repeat. Enabling the 'Party Mode' switch on the back will allow the light to change colour in time to music - with an adjustable sensitivity dial making it possible to alter the setting for better reactions to loud or quiet music. (Please note the PAC-MAN Ghost Light does not play or conduct music, but reacts to music from an external source.) The light comes with a micro USB cable, and can be powered by connecting to any standard USB port in a laptop or mains adapter. Instruction manual also included.

Exactly what I was looking for. A few minor flaws - you'll need a USB AC adapter if you intend to power it from a wall outlet, and you can't lock it into a single color. The switch choice are off, slowly color cycle, and sound activated. Anyway, I intend to run this thing for at least several hours every day, so I'll be sure to report back if (when) the LEDs start to dim or burn out. If I get a few years out of it I'll be satisfied, at which point I'll just replace the LEDs myself.

Dim lights and always needs to be plugged in

It's cool but it always needs to be plugged into something (computer or outlet) and lights will go along with music but it's not a speaker. The lights are kind of dim and a very lightweight product. I think the price should be cheaper but overall I do enjoy it.

My husband continues to express that this is THE best gift he has EVER received. It's been on 24/7 for almost a year now (got it for him last Christmas) and has never faltered. Looks fantastic- and everyone who sees it wants one. Cute and cool at the same time. I've had to stop myself from buying another (bc I want one too).

Update 4/13/19- continues to remain on 24/7 and still going strong!

Overall, I really like these lights. I have a bookshelf that I where I keep my PS4, video games, blu-rays, etc. I couldn't decide how to decorate the bookshelf. Everything else seemed too formal or just not me. After adding a couple of other lights along with a pac-man light, I'm really happy how this turned out. Part of me wants to get white globe Christmas lights and make dots for added authenticity... although that might be too much.

There are some things that I would like to change. I would like to be able to take the black squares on the eyes and move them to the right so that the ghost would seem as if it was looking in the other direction. I'd also like the ability to have the ghosts stay on a single color I could choose instead of constantly shifting colors. Still, I think it looks great. It's one of the few decorating ideas I've had of which I've been proud!

I love this Light. I wouldn't recommend it for your main light in a room though. More like a lava lamp, for entertainment and decoration. Other than that it's a pretty amazing light. Plug it into the wall and turn it on, it will change colors (blue, red, purple, & green). Plug it into the computer and play music. Not only will it change lights to the beat, it will actually play the music with its little speaker. Speed of the Lights flashing is depended on how fast the music plays. Great for Pac-Man fans. Too young to remember the original but like it just as much." - My son

Like it..but there are some downsides

I like it..but there are a few downsides.
1- It's really ugly when its not on. You can't even make out the whites of his eyes when its off.
2- It needs a USB Adaptor plug. Comes with the cable, but not the plug. So that's an extra cost.
3- Party mode.. doesn't really work well at all
4- No way to adjust lights..can't keep it on one color, or adjust speed.
5. It's super duper light...

The good...
1 It's very cool when on.
2.Currently its half off in the pr ice

What a fantastic buy this was. My 5 year old boy can't get enough of it (as he is into pacman a lot (and has watched the movie pixels dozens of times - terrible movie, but, hey). He loves the way it changes from blue, to dark blue, to orange to red, it's awesome. Uses mostly as night light but the party mode is also awesome. Super happy and the light is fun but not too harsh, hence it is no problem to use it a night light. Great job guys.

Perfect and affordable game room decor

I bought this on a whim to put in my game room/office, and I am very pleased. The light is bigger than expected, and the mini USB is great for plugging into a gaming system. I have mine plugged into the back of my PS4, so the light turns on/off with the console. The only drawback is the colors don't light up as bright as the box art shows, mainly because the color is always changing to the next shade. There isn't a function to stick with one color only.

This Paladone PacMan Ghost Light transitions smoothly between the colors and provides enough light to actually be visible during the daytime. At night, the light provides a nice glow in a dark room.

I purchased one of these, then after I saw how cool it looked, I ordered 3 more in order to have 4 of them going at once. Now I just need a glowing Pacman... I've had them plugged in 24/7 for an entire year, and they still work like they did when I first bought them. Great product for anybody who loves retro-games!

I got this for my 6 year old for his birthday. He surprised me when he said he wanted a pacman party. I love this light. Both my 6 yr old and 1 year old love it too. My son turns it on at night in his room. He had it on his bedside table. My husband said it is too bright. So we moved it to below the bed on the opposite side of where he sleeps and it's better. But it definitely lights up the room. The colors are beautiful. It made for a great display for his party too.

It would be nice if it came with a plug, or even allowed for battery operation. My brother had a USB battery charger I used at the party so it didn't need to be near an outlet. We much prefer the mode where the colors slowly change. But the mode where it changes to music is fun for the kids to play with by making their "own music" haha.

I had some nice videos to share, but I don't think it's allowing me to upload :/
