I did not purchase this via Amazon, however, I do own this helmet, and I am extremely disappointed with it. I preordered this the day it became available and was so excited for this product....

First off the helmet is GIGANTIC. I'm a 5'5 female at 130 lbs (so not the largest, but small helmets fit me... and don't look absolutely ridiculous on me like this does) and this helmet is as wide as my shoulders. Life size bobble head is a pretty accurate description. Unless you are over 6 feet, or, actually master chief, this helmet will look absolutely ridiculous on the wearer. Additionally the amount of room inside the helmet between my cheeks and the padding really makes me nervous. there is literally no support below the top of my head, and, god forbid, I'm in an accident, I would not trust this helmet to protect me. How they got this to be DOT approved is beyond me. On top of all that, it feels cheap. Some parts are made of flimsy plastic that I can literally pull off with little effort. Parts I'm 99% sure aren't supposed to come off. I think Neca really messed up when they didn't make the helmet to the size of the wearer. Next to a standard helmet this thing is almost double the width.

On the plus side, its realistic... if you're wanting this as a collectors item, and not to actually wear.
