Updated Review!!!!!!

Great idea! However after using mine after surf sessions this summer. (bought the unit in June), the bladder split and now it will not hold pressure

rendering the thing useless! But before I bash it too much, I have contacted the manufacturer about warranty. Lets see how quick they are to repair, or replace the unit with out costing me too much in shipping charges...........Review to be continued..... I changed my review to 5 stars after contacting the company and sending a picture of the split tank, I am happy to say Rinse Kit sent me a brand new unit and prepaid shipping label for me to send back to them my old broken unit. I have to say that it is a great idea and the company truly stands by their product.

Save you money.

We have always used a portable hand pump sprayer as a type of "rinse kit".
When I saw this and watched the demo's I really thought this would be the perfect replacement.
It's not even close. It does do what they say it will do, but I did not realize how limited that was until I used it a few times.

It has it's place, but it is no replacement for pump sprayers or the 12v portable sprayers available.

Strike 1; this may say it holds 1.5 or 2 gallons (depending on which ad you read),

but the pressure does not keep it flowing past the first couple quarts,

Even keeping it in mist mode the sprayer begins to drizzle, and there is no way to get the pressure back.

Strike 2; you ALWAYS have to use a spigot to refill/pressurize, and one is not always available.(and that's why we bought this, right?)

Strike 3; this product is seriously overpriced, cheaply made and provides a limited service for the space it takes.

Had it been around 40 bucks, I'd say it's an ok addition, but even priced lower it in no way replaces the $5-10

long term multi-use of portable hand or 1 gallon hand pump sprayers that you can fill at will from any source.

The lure of not having to "pump up the pressure" is a greatly exaggerated perk, vs running out of pressure and

not being able to do anything about it, without a spigot. I gave it 3 stars instead of 2 because it did wash and rinse

camping dishes in hot water for 2 days. ( 2 meals for 2 people- left kit in the sun and used mist setting)
I will say they have some great PR, ads and comments, regrettably that is what sold me.

I gave this a four-star because it is a must for car camping. There are three things wrong with it.
1. It doesn't hold enough water only 7 1/2 quarts.
2. You can only get six quarts out of it.
3. You cannot use it if there is not pressurized water at your campsite.
I made it into a five-star unit with one small modification. I added a valve stem into the top of the And carry a bicycle pump with a gauge on it. All available from Amazon. With this modification I can add an extra quart of water to the tank and get a full two gallons out. With 1 gallon of water you can take an adequate shower. Shampoo takes an extra gallon. Leave the tank in the sun for a while if you want hot water but be careful it can get awfully hot.

Our house pressure is 50 psi. I wouldn't use more than this (DON'T use a compressure- it could explode!)
Because of the diminished air supply the first outpour of water will only be about one pint, enough to do your head. 15 strokes on the pump brings you back to 50 pounds of pressure. And enough for three pints to do you do your arms and upper body. Then 30 strokes or take you to 30 pounds and enough to empty the tank.

without a doubt the best thing since sliced bread

This is, without a doubt the best thing since sliced bread!

Little did I know when my husband purchased this that we would use it so often! He fills it up with hot water and we leave the Rinse Kit in the car while at the beach. We come back - covered head to toe in sand and it cleans off 2 adults, 2 kids and the surf board(s).. It has totally saved my car from being cleaned so often! We take it on our camping trips, we even used it when our water was shut off during a home water pipe repair.

The Rinse Kit has a shower attachment that is really high quality and the hose is long enough to hold over your head while standing (on the lid if you want to keep your feet clean!)

Every time we use this we get admiring looks and comments from people who ask us where we got it.

We love this thing - best buy EVER!

Bought this as an Xmas gift for my husband. HE LOVES IT! He surfs and uses it constantly, we also use it to clean our dog. It has a ton of pressure and is an incredible product. We are very happy with it.

Two things would make this product better. Holding more water and the sink adapter coming in the kit.

I am writing this for anybody who has a dog, goes to the beach, works construction, has kids, camps,

I bought two of these after seeing it on some fund me "5 coolest camp gadgets" video after a long search on the internet for Christmas gift ideas. Gave them each to active, elderly couples. One lives on a ranch and always works with equipment, tools, etc. I figured to rinse equip, hands, boots while out in the barn. The other recipients live in town, but keep up a large property with rentals and constantly do yard/garden work. Dragging a long hose from several spickets and walking to turn on/off while watering plants seemed impractical. The garden folks pushed it on me when I was visiting on my way to go camping one day, still in the package. They said it was a waste, it being so nice but not being used. I amounted this to them fearing it was difficult and technical to use, but there is not much to it. So I took the unused Christmas present in March to a beach campground with my dog. I liked it so much, I decided not to give them a tutorial on how easy it is and gladly kept it.

I keep it in my truck bed tool box,I use it nearly every day for: dirt/mud/dog crap off boots before getting in the truckwhen or even rinse and leave outside the house so I don't have to walk back from the spicket in dirt or socks, rinsing off rubber floor mats in car, clean hands before I get in truck, rinsing garden/dirt tools/buckets to store or transport, my feet/dog/gear after a hike or beach walk(avoiding sand in truck and traumatizing my little dog in a violent beach foot-shower by using mist setting), mist setting just propped up in front yard on a hot day for quick cool down, filling dog or cat's bowl without carrying bunch of water bottles or detaching hose to avoid that

Hose taste/smell, blast cob webs or grime off any outdoor project, send a stream across a 20 ft yard to barking dog for some quiet, rinsing porch or sidewalk, washing dishes/equipment when camping, maybe some day for an emergency like heat exhaustion or a small accidental fire? It's great anytime you usually would drag a hose, container with no pressure, or where water simply isn't available.

Last week, no lie I got off the 680 freeway in Northern"‹ California before a toll bridge to grab some cash. I saw a guy broke down. On my way back he wasn't there, I was gonna stop and ask if he needed tools or help. He had made it on the toll bridge halfway across, ironically in the rain, with an overheating car. He had just bought it privately, was halfway home with a bad radiator. I'm not saying I fixed his car. But he was in the middle of a couple mile long bridge, out of extra water with a steaming car. I was able to give him a gallon and a half in the blink of an eye to at least limp to a fuel station for free water and shelter. Bam.

This thing is awesome, it has come in handy daily, and saved the day a several times. It takes two minutes to fill, has different pressure settings for animals or tough dirt, it's relatively light (water weighs 7lbs/gal), doubles as a seat camping or at beach, has great pressure, and if you wanted you could even change the spray nozzle but you'd probably run out faster, or keep nozzle off if you need to fill a bucket with a convenient quick-coupler design. The only downsides are that it's pretty much impossible to use all water without tipping or unscrewing drain cap (Science), and without drilling a hole there is no way to lock lid closed or secure it from being stolen. The lid hinges slide apart. Rinse kit, this is your que. 100% real and stoked testimonial.

awesome rig! make sure you don't keep it in the car on a sunny day filled up as the evaporating water in the cylinder will explode. this happened to me and I had a to call for a replacement. Excellent customer service from this company. I surf 2-3 times a week and this thing makes my day after surfing so much better!

I love this! We take it on all of our camping trips. Great for when we take the dog to the beach as well because the dog is always a sandy mess and has to stay in the back of the jeep. This way I can rinse and dry him a bit and he can ride with the rest of us. Sprayer works great with good pressure. Great gift for someone for the holidays! I've been very happy with the quality of this product!
