LET ME TELL YOU THE TRUTH. This collar looks absolutely badass, yes. Im not the one to write a review as soon as i get the product, no. Ive had this collar on my dog for about a month now. Three of the four spikes around the D-Ring have come off. The collar itself is pretty hefty leather and all of the normal spike have held up so far. For The price I really can't complain at all. But the spikes around the D-Ring coming off really sticks out and I'm not very happy about it.

Update: the spikes are falling off.. (2 missing) and now I am worried that she may have consumed some of these if they break off in a blanket and she plays with it. Due to the poor quality of the spikes. I fear the worst. As this can cause a huge amount of problems. Please skip this and get something safer and heavily tested for durability for your dog.

It is a shame, as it felt like a quality piece.

Perfect to protect your Dog's neck!

Our beloved Golden Retriever was recently viciously attacked by our neighbor's dog on the neck. Once our dog's neck is healed, he will wear this collar especially just for our neighbor's dog. You MUST protect your dog from other dogs and the neck is where they go. It was a little too big but my husband drilled a hole in it to make it smaller. Our dog is a small to medium sized Golden(65 lb) which usually wears a 22" chain so I would buy one size smaller than this product if your dog is about this size. We can't wait to try it out soon.....

Our ten year old weim had been used to being the queen of the house until we added a 8 month old hound to the mix. While they love to play, the house had taken to dragging the weim around the house by collar. Enter the Beirui Sharp Spiked Studded Dog Collar! Holy smokes, it immediately worked! Super beefy and well made, I'm surprised to see some of the other reviews. Granted, this isn't being used for daily walks but it's seriously hard core and seemingly well made. I'll come back and update my review if things changed, but if you are on the fence with this thing, I say go for it! The cost alone and free return policy makes it a no brainer.

03/01/18 Only time will tell how this item unravels but when received item looks stout.. studs seem secure and item looks tough.. using it for my tri color French dog male.. I purchased the 15-17 one for him and it fits him perfect at the 3rd to last hole I leave on the 2nd to lay hole which is loose but not loose enough to get over his head and the extra flap fits perfect under its secure tab.. the last whole will leave the collar sticking out and will not be able to get under the tab FYI.. just order the next size up 17-20 for my thicker brindle male so it should fit him nice and will test fit it on my tri color.. I will post better pics when I come back to this in some time for a update.. as for now you can see it on my tri color..he weighs 28.7lbs FYI reference him against the tiles which are 1'x1'

If you got a decent size to larger Frenchie I would get the 2nd size up from the bottom (17-20") fits my male great and would fit a broader one even better.. if you have a smaller more compact one the 14-17 would be better.. 4th pic is of the 17-20 size 5th is of the 14-17

It is Pleather and the spikes are plastic as well, just FYI. Looks tough but, we will see how it holds up. But Hey, at least he can jump in the water now and I know it won't hurt it. I'll post an update later on how it held up. You get what you pay for.

Our youngest dog (German Shepherd/Australian Shepherd mix) gets picked on a lot- we've tried all sorts of different training and even e-collars for them to get along but it's been nine months and at this point we're trying anything that might help short of finding a new home for one of them. I picked this collar because it's sharp and I'm hoping it deters the others from going for her neck and at her in general. I measured her neck and she's almost exactly 16" so I ordered the white 15-18" and it fits perfectly with room to grow. Sizing is definitely accurate! It's a pretty hefty collar so anything with a smaller neck I'd worry about how heavy it is to wear. Obviously I'll update as to how long it stands up but it's already proven useful as a deterrent to the other dogs when roughhousing this morning.

The spikes are sharp, i filed them down a bit. Other than that it looks pretty nice on my female bully. Can't wait for my boy to grow so I can buy him one to match too. I'll try to post pics soon.

Update... 3-17-16.

So I only use the collar about once every 2 weeks, the spikes are super sensitive, about 5 of them have fallen off?? I have another collar I bought from a different company here on Amazon (Dogs My Love or something like that.) I've had that collar since 2013 and use it with all my pups till they grow out of it (it's 19" long and 3" wide, same spike style) for 3 years it has been used on multiple dogs and has never lost a spike.... so I'm pretty disappointed that this one didn't work out.. I will no longer be buying another one for my boy. I'll just stick to the other brand and paint the spikes black lol

Aight, didn't buy it for a dog. Bought for kink fashion. But still, it's well made, the 'leather' looks/feels real and is a nice thick solid band, however, the spikes are VERY sharp, the curved ones are blunt but the others are really sharp. I personally would be terrified of my dog pushing/running by me and catching skin/fabric and just wrecking me. If you have a big dog these would work really well, I would sand down the spikes some. I haven't actually put it to the test of being attached to a leash and other dog activities you'd normally do, but for fashion/human wear it'd basically work.
