Effective, Water Vapor Humidifier is Excellent

Purchased because the capacity and adjustable water vapor stream allows all-day or all-night operation without depleting the reservoir and activating the auto shut off. There is no timer shut-off, and we like that.

Also the light vapor stream (about 1-4 on the dial) does not seem to saturate the surrounding area as some brands do. Of course, you would have to

test this for yourself and monitor the humidity for your area.

It also looks cool! It is also silent. Darth does not take much real estate either.

If you like the ambient sound of mist, I would recommend Vick's Cool Mist Humidifier with Air Cleaning Filter, 1.5 Gallon. This unit is easy to fill and operate, but mist is released, not water vapor. The reservoir is good if you need extended use. We like the Vick's unit as well.

We now own two Darth Vader humidifiers which operate in separate rooms. They are a must for us during especially during the winter months.

A little more expensive than some. Excellent operation and great, fun decor.

3 months doesn't work only been using for a month

I am so upset! Had this thing for three months and now it won't work. This is for my 4 month olds room, we have been running it nightly due to the fact he has RSV!!!

Have had it for Three months and only used it for a month and it's done, asked if there was a way to fix it and was told clean the filter, THERE IS NO FILTER! 😒😒😒😒

There is water in it and when I turns it on the light is red and will not turn green! Seriously $60.00 down the drain.

Now I guess I will have to run to walmart with my sick 4 month old to get something that will last longer then 30 days.

It looks awesome but that's it. First one I got it stopped working within an hour, second one doesn't mist high enough so it soaks anything around it.

Let me say, this looks awesome! Unfortunately, when I used it, the steam goes straight up and then straight down. After a few minutes the whole thing and the area around it were covered in water. The outlet on the top should have been angled to blow away from the unit. As great as it looks, I had to send it back.

I thought it worked great until a week later after I purchased it, the screw cap broke (where the water is poured into). So now its non returnable and I can't fix it. So I wasted 60 dollars. If there was a way I could get a new screw cap or get a response from the company then I would say it worked great but I haven't and its made cheaply.. End of story

Bought in February but didn't need to use it until last night. Worked fine when I left the kid's bedroom, but this morning it doesn't turn on or work anymore. Absolute piece of junk. Do not buy.

My son wanted this for his apartment because its so dry in the winter. He's 27 and loved it!!!

He says it works great but is a little loud, took him some getting used to as he uses it in his bedroom.

Looks Great, Functions Horribly

Being the nerd that I am, I was very excited to use this product, but it just hasn't lived up to my expectations. If the humidifier is set to anything but the lowest output setting, water beads all over the helmet, drips down, and creates pools of water on the surface you have it on. I think that this is because there's not a strong enough fan to push the vapor out to other parts of the room causing it to stay just around the humidifier.

Whenever we take the internal tank out to refill it, it drips no mater which way we hold it on the way to the sink. The tank is also small, and using this on the lowest level, we have to refill it everyday. The one good thing is that it has an auto-off feature when the tank is empty.

The residue buildup on the inside is rapid, even with frequent vinegar uses. We've had this for 4 months and I don't expect that it will last much longer. I had very high hopes for this product, but it doesn't do much other than provide a fun, geeky statue.
