I was skeptical but it's a great broom! The handle does seem a little flimsy, so we shall see how long that lasts; but overall we love the product *update: the pole did actually break within a few months but the broom itself is still amazing and we just screwed it onto a new handle/pole. The engineering of it is such that if you lightly go over rocks Our pine needles will come right off better than the rake period is excellent to sweep water off the patio and just about anything. I'm definitely buying more but I will purchase better poles to swap them out

Snags dust pans

I am currently using this broom to sweep 53 foot wooden floor van trailers. The debris is mostly dirt and pallet splinters. I use a leaf blower to blow the dirt and splinters into the nose of the trailer and then sweep it into a Garland Jumbo Tidy Pan outdoor 21 inch dustpan. This broom catches the edge of the dust pan and lifts it up. I might be using the wrong kind of dust pan for this broom. I agree with other reviewers that the telescoping handle is flimsy. I am afraid to use the telescoping function of the handle because it looks like it could break at any moment. This broom does get into cracks better than any of my other brooms.

Good all around yard accessory

I purchased this broom/rake from a German company a few years ago and was afraid I would not be able to replace it. However, here is the identical product from a different supplier at a less expensive price. I have synthetic turf in both my front and back yards and this is a must have tool around the yard. You can use is in many applications, syn. turf, real grass, concrete and dirt. Try it. You won't regret it.

Good for sweeping fake grass lawn

This works surprisingly well on fake grass for sweeping up leaves. It may not save you a ton of time, but I found it more effective than a normal or push broom. It wasn't as great at sweeping up very fine dust on the patio.

I've used this broom for several years in the barn to sweep the hallways, clean out the hay mow in the spring before the new hay. I currently work in a commercial kitchen where it excels at reaching beneath appliances into those nasty corner catch-alls. I have one in my van for snow removal. Sadly, it disappeared off the retail market in Canada about two years ago. But wait! The Handy Camel in the USA is the importer and for us Canadians we can order it at Amazon.com

Work well as advertised

Love it! Working really well. I used it for sweeping leaves on the concrete floor, spreading top soil on the lawn... it gets the corners too. Only thing I wish it had a smaller option. It will be easier to handle and store.

We just built a 16 x 16' composite deck and this broom works good for getting pine needles out between the cracks. I hope I can get a few years out of it. I had a couple of the broom bristles pull out at first but that has seem to have stopped. The design works.

Better pull than push broom. The bristle head keeps wanting to come unscrewed... suggest putting a little glue at the tip before you attach. The width is ideal.
