I was a little disappointed. The tape dispenser is really lightweight plastic and has no weight to it (usually tape holders have sand in them to keep them stable) so if you try to pull tape off, you can't do it without holding the entire unit otherwise the unicorn will basically flip over or you won't be able to get the tape out. I probably would have opted for another dispenser had I known it was so flimsy. It functions fine, but you have to hold it with both hands to use it. That isn't efficient in an office setting. Maybe for kids.

I work in a school, and always have things on my desk that facilitate conversation. This is one of those things, and it works. The tape isn't super sticky, but c'mon, that's not why we buy unicorn rainbow tape dispensers, is it? It's great, and exactly as described.

Although Stuart is a cute fellow, he arrived at my home with his horn broken off. My husband had to melt plastic and burn his horn back on. I don't think its going to stay on. Also, the dispenser itself very flimsy and not weighted like a traditional tape dispenser. Its cute to look at, but not functional. I'm disappointed in my purchase.

Personality for workspace!

This is kind of cheaply made but it gives my desk so much personality! Mine doesn't look exactly like the photo.. he has pink feet. The rainbow tape was useless though. Luckily I bought it for work so I just replaced it with clear tape.

I only gave 1 star because it wouldn't let me give zero. I was so excited to get this. When I opened it there was gold tape and I was like ok it's cute no biggie but as I started looking at it more I noticed that the tape was backwards. No big deal right? WRONG!!! You can not remove the tape at all from the dispenser. This means that even if I wanted to put regular tape in when is empty I can't. I am not even able to turn the gold tape the correct way. I am so disappointed. Save your money.

Pretty Tape Dispenser

My seven year old is a tape maniac. She is very creative, and always making pictures, and then likes to display them all over the house. She goes through tape like water. This dispenser is so girlish, and now she has her own. Also, the designer tape that comes with it, is cute, too. Very colorful. Cute product.

Cute tape! I got it because I really just wanted the rainbow one but the others are cute. The tape is most opaque but is a little translucent. Has a very shiny finish instead of being like paper like a lot of other decorative tape. I use it to wrap a loop around my pens I use for work so I can keep track of them. Nice item

Sending people broken merchandise

The horn was broken off when I got the tape dispenser, and it wasn't just broken, it was broken & placed inside the bottom of the display box. So, it was totally broken before being shipped, someone knew it & still shipped it anyway. Not cool, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Tape dispensers and staplers tend to disappear from our mailroom. I work with a bunch of men that just take whatever they need, despite the fact that certain items are for shared use. So, I wanted to buy the girliest tape dispenser I could find. I doubt anyone will end up with this little unicorn displayed on their desk!
