Do not buy these. The Bluetooth connectivity is not ...

Do not buy these. The Bluetooth connectivity is not reliable. Within 5 min the left ear peace always stop working. It's not worth the price. I've only used mine three times before giving up.

They don't work
by Antonio Perez de Tejada Martinez (1 out of 5 stars)

They don't really work at all. They constantly cut out so I don't get a smooth stream of audio. They are cutting out every few seconds, occasionally for up to a few minutes without sound. The app also just flat out does not work and cannot find the earins for some reason even though I am connected to them

Not ready for primetime
by Amazon Customer (2 out of 5 stars)

I recently stopped in and picked up a pair of these from Best Buy. I was excited to get home, unwrap and pair them. The unboxing of the product is fairly straightforward, and there is very little instruction. You must pair the left bud 1st, as the right pairs to the left and acts as a slave. The issue I found with this, is that this is what is causing the issues experienced. The sound is crisp and clear when it works as expected. Unfortunately for me, the right bud continually cuts out ruining the experience. I really did want to love these earbuds, especially with the cool charge/carry case, however, it is not worth the $300 price tag. So for now, it looks like I'll go back to my powerbeats wireless. One thing that I am looking forward is the Konoa earbuds that release in April. I already pre-ordered my pair for $150 ([...] ). They will retail for $300, however, they are water-resistant, and also allow you to control your music as well as answer calls.

In short, earin isn't quite ready for the masses.

Horrible product and horrible customer service
by Laurent Bugnion (1 out of 5 stars)

Horrible product and horrible customer service. I wrote a more extensive review here:
[...]

In short, the head is interfering between the two earbuds. Also the connection between the device and the earbud is bad. I asked the customer service and they said I should hold my phone in my shirt pocket (which I don't have) or in an armband (but I am using the device also when not jogging). Simply put, the product simply doesn't work in spite of the very expensive price. Also it has zero features such as volume control, skipping songs or Cortana/Siri/Google Now trigger. Horrible.

Amazing earbuds
by Amazon Customer (5 out of 5 stars)

I got a perfect pair so far, zero problems, and with the standard 1 year warranty as my backup just incase.

The earbuds and the sound quality were actually above my expectations as well. They have a great sound quality, and it's been a blast to use and carry & charge around so easily. With only a few wireless earbuds out there (so far), I had researched around a lot and found that Earin's official website basically tells you what the mission was for this product: (1), Having high sound quality, and (2), making it as small and elegantly simple as possible. (So the multiple Amazon reviews that lamented the lack of multi-function buttons, microphones, and things of the like maybe didn't do their full research beforehand). And if you want the full techno-babble details on the earbuds, such as with their sound quality and their supported audio codecs, its on the official website.

Comes with two earbud stabilizers, two pairs of foam tips (small, medium), capsule, capsule charger, and even one pair of silicone tips incase the foam tips aren't your thing (small - Earin app states that these will "let you be more aware of your surroundings" as well).

In terms of connectivity, if you understand the technology a little bit, it is best to first connect the earbuds as it is physically close to the device, then put them in your ears after. After that, you will want to try to keep the device always physically close to the earbuds, and have nothing blocking/near your head (Laying your head against the back of a chair, on a pillow, or on the ground has been problem free so far as well).

Has worked with my 2015 MacBook Pro perfectly, zero cutouts in 1 plus hour of usage. On the MacBook, there was no Earin app to work with the earbuds but it was working flawlessly, with a high max volume, and with iTunes' Equalizer even adjusting the earbuds as well.

Has worked with my 2015 Galaxy Alpha well (5.0.2 android lollipop). I was having about 3-4 cutouts to the R earbud in 1 hour of usage, with each sound cutout lasting for about a split-second, until I realized that my hand was resting on my face causing the L earbud-to-R earbud connectivity cutouts. I'm back to zero cutouts when I'm careful with the hand but the Galaxy Alpha feels likes it has a less stable connectivity than the MacBook Pro. And even though the Galaxy Alpha phone was using the Earin app with the Bass Boost and Volume Gain controls on, the max volume felt a tad bit too low (for me anyways).

My only real issue has been that there is a varying amount of audio lag to video streaming/playing on both devices (unless your video player/device has a lag adjustment/correction in the settings). I was expecting this, but hoping otherwise. On an online video stream the audio lag was bothering me too much to continue watching. But on my Galaxy's YouTube videos, another online video stream, and my MacBook's iTune's videos, the audio lag was actually barely there and not bothering me from stopping to watch the videos. So there should be some pleasant surprises with certain, or maybe most, videos playing.

All in all, I'm very happy with them, and maybe this review will help someone out there.

Update:

I have the Bragi Dash buds as well. They are amazing and I extensively compared it to my Earrin buds. First, the Bragi Dash buds are a more natural look in the mirror, and they fit more securely as well. Also, as with both company's missions for each product, the Bragis were very cool for having multiple functions and features (like water proof design and an audio transparency function), while the Earrins were more elegantly simple and still smaller overall. Where I would take the Bragi when I wanted the multiple functions or to do exercise, I still found myself leaning more towards the Earrins overall.

This is because of two main things. The Earrins felt more comfortable to wear over long periods of time. They are also more portable. And the other main thing was sound quality. This was surprising as I was expecting the sound quality to be the same between them, but it was not the case. Right off the bat, the Earrins sound quality was a little bit richer. To make it worse for the Bragis, the Earrins would adjust to the MacBook's iTunes' EQ AND the Earrin app's Bass Boost, Balance, and Extra Volume Gain features for sound quality. The Bragis couldn't even connect to the MacBook. And once I connected and compared them on a 2015 iPad mini 4, the Earrin's Bass Boost made an even larger difference in sound quality. It wasn't like this mega bass boost either. It simply made the already rich sound quality even more deeper and with more range. It was a noticeable difference. Taken that, while I prefer the Earrins for listening to audio and video, I'm very happy with both products, as well as what future wireless earbuds may bring. Cheers.
