Transloetje comes in 8 different colours, all equally sweet. It might be easier to choose a full Transloetje rainbow, instead of only picking one. Each lamp has a different colour wire powerfully highlighting the subtle shade of the different Transloetjes. Thanks to its transparency, the old-fashioned light bulb is the center of attention. But don't be fooled, despite of its retro appearance the lamp is in fact an energy saving LED light. Equipped with a tactile switch, the lamp turns on by a simple touch of its base. Tap again to increase the intensity and brightness of the bulb.

Nice little lamp you can take it with you everywhere if you have recharged it (charger is included, just plus it in your computer or if you prefere a classical method there is a wall plug adapter). Three positions with each of them a different shade. Vintage look LED; The base is very sensitive so you might switch it on the lamp just grabbing it. Very contemporary, the design is nice and the grey translucent plastic does not look cheap. It looks sturdy, but I am not sure about the longevity of this object; we will see.I love it though as It looks really great anywhere you put it and it is fun! Good for camping if you do not need too much light: in effect, it is perfect if you want to read before falling asleep: just touch the lamp once. I noticed it can be tough to switch it off, but maybe it is just me.

I wanted to love this lamp

I wanted to love this lamp. It is quirky and retro looking, the dimmer functions worked great, and the lamp itself is conveniently cordless...unfortunately the led bulb feels like it is burning your eyes due to the clear construction. I am not against leds or anything, but you can't even glance at this lamp without it feeling like it is searing your retinas. Even on the lowest setting I walked by the lamp and I was seeing purple spots. I had to return it which was a shame because I like the design so much.

Beautiful Design, Dim Lighting

The design is remarkable. I really enjoy looking at this lamp, whether on or off.

The only downsides are non-user replaceable bulb, and the light emitted is overall rather dim. Also, since the entire design is transparent, expect hard lighting, so this is not the best product for ambient, room-filling light.

This is a great little lamp like a modern lantern. Don't expect it to light up an entire room at night, though. It's super efficient with 3 light variants and USB rechargeable. Brilliant and fun!
