Best belt ever
by Jim VanDerWoude (5 out of 5 stars)

Absolutely the best belt I have ever owned. I carry concealed daily and this belt is so comfortable! I love the three zipper compartments on the back of the belt to carry hidden cash and other essential items. As far as I am concerned you cannot beat the quality or price.

GREAT belt... but a couple of small nit-picks... Sorry, I have to mention them...
by TolkienFan (5 out of 5 stars)

First, this belt is without a doubt one of the finest made belts I have ever had the pleasure of wearing. It is designed as a gun belt or a holster belt, whichever you choose to call it. If you are looking for a belt for that purpose then you will undoubtedly be aware of some of the potential issues that surround belts used like this. If instead you are looking for a security belt, this one will fill that niche as well. I have already told you that I really like this belt, so here are the evaluation results and the "whys"....

When I received the belt, the first thing I noticed was a letter along with the product that stated there was an UNCONDITIONAL lifetime warranty promising free replacement for ANY "issue" with the belt. Okay... that is a start. However good a warranty and the associated "guarantee" is... it is best used as a placeholder or a book mark. That is to say, that an ironclad warranty/guarantee is very nice to have but is best if NOT used.!! And I thoroughly believe that this belt will never need to be serviced under the warranty. I look forward to trying to wear this belt out just to see if I can get a new one.!! I don't think it will ever happen though....

Upon initial inspection I found the belt to be just as impressive as the description says. It is an Iron-clad piece of kit. The belt is constructed of stiff top grain leather. The interior of the belt is finished just as nicely as the exterior. The leather is dyed beautifully and the finish appears to be hand rubbed. The edges are nicely finished and are skived (rounded..) as well as rubbed to a very hard finish. The stitching appears to be perfect. The buckle is VERY heavy and is beautifully finished. There is NO apparent sloppiness or play in the buckle. The buckle is riveted to the belt and the keeper is contained inside of the riveted area as well. On the inside of the belt there are three zippered pockets. The pockets are concealed from casual view of course. The zippers are quality and function smoothly and well. As you might expect, the pockets are not large.... but of course that is limited by the dimensions of the belt itself. They should be perfectly satisfactory for their intended purpose.

In use, the belt functions as well as I expected. It is very stiff and supports clothing and a full weapon kit with no problem. I carry a steel frame handgun in a holster as well as other smaller pieces at times. Also attached are magazine carriers as well as clips for "accessories". This belt shows no signs of folding or sagging anywhere along the length. The buckle fits well into the well-punched holes and there is no apparent wear at that spot either. The sizing of the belt is perfect as long as you follow the instructions on the product page. There are seven punched holes for fitment and mine made up correctly in the center hole. When wearing an IWB holster I have to loosen it one notch. Still, there is plenty of adjustment.

I DO have a couple of small nit-picks that I will mention. First thing to note is that the zippers on the inside are metal. Well, at least parts of them are. That in itself is not an issue. However, the pull tab IS metal and it is also long enough to be visible when hanging down as the belt is worn. Now the tab is not TOO long, but it DOES hang down below the edge of the belt and is visible from behind. Does this make a difference.?? I am not certain.! However, anyone who noticed it would also be aware of the presence of the compartment on the inside of the belt. Why else would there be a zipper.??? I guess you could file (grind..??) the bottom off of the pull tab so that it did not show.... Hmm.?? ................. The second nit-pick also involves the security pockets. While I don't expect to use them much, I am certainly glad to have them available. The issue comes with the placement. There are three zippered pockets spaced around the belt. But they are NOT centered or evenly spaced in the usable length of the belt. In fact, the pockets are spaced MUCH closer to the end of the belt with the punched holes. I am not sure why that is...?? The result is that IF a person wanted to punch additional holes in the belt (maybe they lost some weight or something..???), they probably could not do so. There is no apparent reason why the pockets are not placed in center or, alternatively, closer to the static end (the buckle end..). They would certainly be just as usable there and would allow for the possibility of resizing the belt smaller if necessary.....

In any event, this belt is truly built like a tank. If you need a gun belt, I can recommend this belt without equivocation. I have used many over the years, and this one is at least as good as any of them... and FAR better than most. For the price, I don't think you will ever find a better product.
*Item provided for review. This is it. My evaluation. My words. My reputation. Enough said.... Seriously folks, this is a top quality belt. Highly recommended.

How would you like zippers grinding against your waistline

How would you like zippers grinding against your waistline? How'd you like to dig into that back belt pocket after the box cutter? This design is so easy to fix but is completely flawed.

Fantastic gun belt, with cool extra feature
by Levi80 (5 out of 5 stars)

I received this item in exchange for my honest opinion.

I have experience with several different styles of gun belt, but am most familiar with the nylon type tactical belts. When I was offered the opportunity to try this one out, I figured I would give leather a go to see what all the fuss was about.

Well, I can honestly see why many people prefer a solid leather belt over anything else when carrying a sidearm. I have not found anything that can compare to the stability that this leather belt provides for carrying even a full sized weapon. Not only that, but it holds my pants up very well, lol.

This is a super thick leather belt that has a very robust buckle. I have a 34" waist and purchased the medium as I fell right in the 37-39" measurement range when measuring one of my existing belts. It fits well on the 4th hole of the belt when not carrying a sidearm. If I carry IWB then I have to loosen it one more to allow for the holster/sidearm. I just can't say enough good about how tough the leather is on this belt.

Along with that the owner put a letter in the box stating that if I EVER have a problem with this belt that it will be replaced. You cannot ask for more than that honestly.

I ordered the 1.75" model and it has worked with every pair of jeans I throw at it. I would not wear this as a dress belt as it is a bit chunky for that, but as a weekend belt, absolutely!

I consider the inside zipper pockets an added bonus. I tried placing dollar bills, razor blades and all of the things that the original video showed going into those pockets and they all worked. I honestly would not use all of these pockets most of the time, but it is cool that they are there.

This belt stands on its own as a great gun belt. If you are in the market for a tough leather gun belt then look no further!
