Cute little steeper. Other reviewers have posted that their steeper tips in a tea cup with water--I did have that issue initially, but it was just because of all the air in the loose tea that I put in the steeper. Once I tapped the air out, it sat well on the bottom of my cup.

Cute but annoying

Meh. I like it as well as any of the ball-style infusers I've owned. It works about as well (dropping tea leaves all over the place of course) but has the added benefit of being cute, which makes it slightly less infuriating. If you want something cute or a gag gift, buy this. If you want the absolute best option for in-mug brewing, get one of these stainless steel deals instead. I liked it.

It's a cute tea steeper. It has an easy to remove top and is fairly easy to clean. The only down side is that is a rubbery material that if left in the tea to long can pick up the flavor. I'm a low mantainace kind of person so having to actively clean this out the second the tea is done steeping so that it doesn't carry the flavor over is a little annoying. But I would buy this again in a heartbeat.

FAIL!

Some of this has been stated in other reviews & it's 100% true:
- It does not hold tea well. No mater what tea I put inside, particles make there way into my mug. If you like a mouth full of loose tea, enjoy.
- It does not stand up well. Air seems to get trapped inside and Nessie just leans on the edge of the mug. "Wake up you lazy sea monster, I've got tea to brew!"

Yes, the little guy is adorable, but it's primary function is to infuse/steep/brew tea. I'm not going into detail about it being annoying to clean or the top not fitting on the bottom all that great, because I believe those are to be expected of this type of infuser (a sacrifice you might deal with for style/portability). It simply DOES NOT DO it's primary function and that is unacceptable.

Very Cute, Maybe not so practical.

I want to start by saying that Nessie is super cute and makes me smile whenever I make tea with her. My only issues are that the silicone tends to collect dust easily and the holes to infuse are a little too large and tend to let tea particles into my tea. Not a huge deal if you don't mind a little bit of tea leaves in your tea. Definitely brings a smile to my face though. For a tea steeper I felt like the price was a little high. Nonetheless, I still bought it.

Cute and works well, if you have large/whole-leaf loose tea

Not great for lower quality tea leaves.

By lower quality, I meant small crumbly ones.

Make sure you have larger, whole tea leaves.

Otherwise you will have leaves in your cup

For reference, I got some lavender earl grey from Kroger/Private Selection, lots leaves in the cup.

But I don't mind leaves personally, more fiber for me lol

Overall works great, and adorable ;)

Holes are too large for some loose tea
by Betsy A. Smith (3 out of 5 stars)

So this infuser is obviously adorable. But the holes are too large for lots of types of tea - it just comes right out. It's just little holes, rather than a mesh. You have to make sure you have relatively large pieces of the tea leaves. Got this for someone who wanted to make rooibos tea with it, and it doesn't work because that's more pieces of bark or something than leaves.

I love these little nessie things. And I love tea. Match made in heaven. This little guy holds a lot of loose leaf tea or a single tea bag. neck is long enough you can literally stir your tea with him without burning fingertips. easy to clean and simple to use.

I think this is a pretty neat tea infuser

I think this is a pretty neat tea infuser. It's really cute! It doesn't just stand on the bottom of the cup though it does tend to get sideways. Even in a really deep tea mug. Its soft flexible silicon, which you'd think would not stay together well, but surprisingly does! It's very easy to use. Good product overall.

Adorable but kind of useless
by Kate McClenny (2 out of 5 stars)

Ok, so this thing is freaking adorable. But it really isn't good at doing its job. It is made of some sort of soft silicon, which makes it bendy when you try to use it to scoop up tea leaves. Then once you have tea leaves in the bottom half, you kind of need to squeeze the top half on, which I mess up like half the time, meaning I spill tea leaves all over the counter.
