I am suitably impressed. First off, the packaging alone is pretty darn nice. Comes in a little muslin type bag with nice leather ties. Then you open it up and unroll the pouch and you can't help but notice the quality. Good soft, heavy duty leather. Quality stitching. Thick leather ties.

I have mine pretty well stuffed to the gills. A pair of mini Channelocks. A little stubby Klein multi screwdriver. A mini SK screwdriver. A Streamlight Microstream. A Bondhus Hawg tool. And various zip ties and miscellaneous bits. The whole thing rolls up and fits ( just barely) in the tool pouch that hangs under my Harleys headlight.

This is a very well made and durable piece of kit.

This is my second H&D leather small tool roll. I had the full grain leather one and really like it, so I decided to also get this suede one.

They are both well constructed small tool rolls. The stitching is excellent and the pockets are uniform in shape and size. I use these to store nice pens and pencils. They are perfect for the job! However, I would like the pockets to be a little deeper to fully cover the pens.

I like this suede one better for storing pens and pencils because the suede is softer and more pliable. However, if I were using it for tools, I would prefer the full grain leather one.

Excellent product and I highly recommend it.

I love the tool roll , it holds my very sharp wood block tools safely and conveniently the suede is fairly stiff which protects the tools better than a canvas roll
I was thinking of buying another to hold my smaller wood carving gouges but I would need another color so that I don't grab the wrong one.
Can I make a suggestion? Many tools including my wood block tools come in sets of 12 not 10. I would really greatly prefer a tool roll with 6 pockets per side not 5. That would hold my whole set which would avoid me from leaving a couple of tools kicking around my studio where they are easily lost or damaged.

Much darker than pictured

Decent leather, good stitching, but it is much, much darker than pictured.

The one I received was a dark chocolate brown and I was expecting (and wanting) the lighter brown as shown.

Item arrived on time, but was supposed to be suede. Appeared to be light canvas or cheesecloth. Barcode scanner showed suede.

Bought this for my dad who is just starting woodcarving. It is beautiful! I even added his initials to customize it! This is handmade, and can hold several small carving tools.

Dye rubs off

As others indicated, the actual color is a darker reddish brown than the photos show. Disappointingly, the leather dye rubs off -- for example on a white piece of paper. I had hoped to use it to store collectible pocket knives, but I can't risk having the wood handles discolored. So, this will have to find some other use.

My gouges & knives fit wonderfully. It's nice to have them all in one place. They're safe from being banged around while stored. When I'm ready to use the tools, I just unroll this and I can see at a glance which gouge to use, pull it out and go to work.

Great Organizer

I needed a bag for my sockets and odd tools for my motorcycle. They had been coming off the keepers and littering the bottom of my saddlebag. This has given me a quick, easy way to keep my tools together, so I'm not pulling everything piecemeal out from the bottom of everything else.
