This is a very well made product worth every penny. Has a nice bit of weight to it and will fit most screw on shifters including automatic. Looks amazing and was a perfect addition to my current project.(see photos)I added a saya to it.

Overall this is a quality, real metal shifter and I'd buy one in every color if I really had money to blow. Although I can't give it a full 5 stars because I'm already having it come undone from the threading on my shift knob, I've had this issue ONLY with aftermarket shift knobs, my OEM shift knob never comes lose. This Katana knob unfortunately has, it's not terrible but it's enough to rattle at this point and as a drifter this may have something to do with the longevity of the product but even then, it's high quality and expected it to be a lifetime piece. Gonna try some fixes though.

I've had this product for MONTHS now on my 2004 Celica GT.

Aside from the nut/threading frequently becoming loose, I really love this product. (Easily solved with some Locktight). The build quality is absolutely solid, the string/wrapping around the handle hasn't unraveled or come undone. My favorite part is the weight of this shifter; you can really feel the metal construction and know that you're holding a substantial piece of craftsmanship.

I've also gotten a lot of compliments from others regarding the shifter. These compliments are from people who just happened to see my car in the parking lot and were really impressed. This is a great conversation starter!

Super rice

Fits super well and feels very sturdy! Love it. Im trying to rice the hell out of my car and this just does exactly that! But seriously it does feel strong and sturdy. I took it on a drive and it didnt wobble or move. Feels super strong. I love it.. as far as comfortabilty, i would give 3 stars. Its not something you really want to rest your hand on for long periods of time but you dont get this because its going to be comfortable. You get it because your a big d**k rice machine that wants to drive your 4 cylinder honda 100 miles downnthe highway and pray the bondo and zip ties dont fall off your car as your blowing past 5.0 mustangs!

Fully metal weighted shifter that adds weight and leverage to your shifting. Makes shifting gears smoother, however be cautious of power shifting as it can force itself past the gear gates even when not intended. Advise to make sure your tranny oil is decent to ensure you don't accidentally grind out your gears. The fabric wrap job left more to be desired, I decided to redo the hand wrap and re glued it with e500.

Came a day early! Box was quite heavy, so I knew the shift had so weight to it. It was packaged quite simple, which was nice. The shifter looked very beautiful out of the box, looks like a actual Samurai Sword Handl, wrapped tightly with the clothe. Steel was very smooth no rough edges, carved elegantly. I order in solid Black and got Soild black. I love the bronze/gold/copper style of Steel it is. It does help a lot with shifting through the gears. Like I said before it's Smooth, especially shifting through gears. The 10lbs Steel ball shifter was nice but it was really rough on my transmission, but this one is amazing about maybe 5lbs it's just amazing. I really do recommend buy this but seriously don't buy a cheap one cause those break and are flimsy. So seriously buy this cause it's a great addition to you car! I'll add photos next week, an update my review

Fits Focus ST!!

Came with 3 adapters and 4 nuts to help install it perfectly. Focus ST thread size does not require an adapter, and I had to use a nut to space the reverse pull from the handle itself.

The handle is probably the best quality you can buy. It's VERY heavy, which some like and some hate. I personally love the heaviness because it glides into gear like it wants to. The metal is properly engraved. And I believe the fabric on the handle has been glued/tacked in so it won't slide around. I saw pictures with the cloth slid up or down, mine will not move at all no matter how hard I slide my hand down or pick at the cloth. Lots of compliments already and really enjoyable to use!!

Decided to buy a new shift knob for my FJ Cruiser so I found this one on amazon and since it matches the blue interior, it looks much better than the regular stock shift knob on my 2007 FJ Cruiser with a manual transmission. None of the adapters that came with the shift knob fit but the threading on the shift knob itself fit perfectly and all I needed was the biggest threaded nut and the shift knob. I made sure they both went all the way down, and I held the shift knob how I wanted it and I then untightened the threaded nut until the shift knob couldn't be moved to the left or right. Pretty straight forward but you may also need some pliers for installation so that the shift knob doesn't move while you're driving.

This samurai sword shift knob is much nicer in person than i expected it to be. Its solid, sturdy and has no loose parts. The silver pommel that i received is actually bronzed rather than silver. It also offers an unexpected bonus in that the added length to my shifter makes shifting much easier on the wrist.

The weight and construction of this shift knob is heavier and sturdier than I thought. The throw feels great and the higher shifting leverage does actually make my car shift more easily with less effort. The only thing I don't like about it is that the cloth area is glued on and may come apart in the future. I can feel the glue when I'm driving :( Also, the top cap is metal and feels very cold in colder weather.
